He can aim for 3rd, but he'll be overcome by LeBron in a few years.

4th, he won't hit 30 threes in his last career year

4th is most likely, but 3rd is possible. Reggie Miller would be a real long shot unless Manu plays until he is 40 and Ray Allen is untouchable.

Bird was a garbage three point shooter early in his career and his career playoff percentage is only 32%, tbh.

bird wasn't exactly known as a big 3 point shooter. its something that has for one reason or another been glorified over the years, which is why dumb people compare him to Dirk, even though they are absolutely nothing alike. people know the highlight of his 3 point shootout when he points up knowing the last shot is falling, and equate that with him being better than ray allen or something.
depending on how long our playoff runs last this year and next year, manu could grab third

Green needs 13 triples to pass MWP (#33), even if the series is only 5 games long Green would need to hit 2.6 threes a game to accomplish that. It's not out of the ballpark for him by any means lmao

Ahead of Kobe.....
Because Kobe won't make the playoffs again! :hat
He'll pass Fisher. He's unlikely to pass anyone else given that he's probably only got one year after this and Reggie and Allen are too far ahead, and Old Man Kobe will chuck up threes for years to come. Probably depends on if Kobe makes it back to the playoffs. Big if given his injuries and the state of his team and salary cap.

I knew Billups was a baller but to see him up that high was crazy! I had no idea he had that many playoff 3 pt shots! I know he went to back to back finals and a few deep runs but damn he is up there high! I was always a fan but had no clue he was up that high on the all time list.

I'm gonna say 4th at most. He's prolly gonna retire after the season since he was already talking about it last year.
I hope he hits enough threes in the Finals but it may not happen. If he (and Timmy) don't retire and we go deep again next year he should pass Kobe who won't make the playoffs if no big free agents go to LA this time (and I see no reason why they would tbh)

he thought about retiring because after last year's finals performance, he thought he was done. this year he has come back stronger, so i don't think its his mindset anymore.
anyway, he's got at least 7 million reasons to return for another season and if tim comes back there's no way manu leaves him hanging

If he can make 2 per game that mantains the defense on him honest.
