Will Barton will step up in his place tbh, prolly to greater effect.

Great news tbqh. It was only a matter of time before he broke out, and Will Barton has been playing above his head to this point. Good riddance to the Spurs killer.

Mixed feelings, tbh. Barton is playing over his head, but he has confidence right now and has nothing to lose by playing balls out.

the more shots for Barton, the happier I am. same idea as when people were saying ":cry if we put Tony on Wes Matthews, he's going to post him up :cry"

good, take the ball out of their studs hands who actually have a chance of getting hot and beating us

And CJ McCollum still can't get time. I remember someone wanting the Spurs to trade Danny Green for him earlier in the season.

The "studs" are still going to get their shots no matter what. I don't want the role guys playing with confidence.

yeah, if will barton is going to beat us, i'm more than content with that. portland hasn't been a team winning with depth all year. when aldridge/lillard/batum are hot, thats when they're dangerous. their cast is largely irrelevant and they only become a factor when directly feeding off of the aforementioned three, not when they take initiative and try to take things into their own hands
