Josh Gordon is actually getting off easy in comparison to a lot of everyday people who would be summarily fired from their jobs if they tested positive for marijuana. He's only being suspended and will have the opportunity to play again at some point.

Thing is, all he really has to do is take care of his money, and he can retire at 30 and smoke all he wants without anyone telling him not to for the rest of his life.

I can definitely sympathize with the "legalize it" angle for personal reasons, but the rule is what it is.

I'll start by saying I smoke weed regularly, and love it. I would not let it come between me and a lucrative contact/career.

The part that really doesn't make sense other than people jeopardizing MILLIONS to get high is that these dumb shits not only could not quit in time for their combine activities, but also didn't take a cleanser, or a masking product to at least pass the UA. Stupid fucks.

If I was a GM I wouldn't pass on a player for failing the test, I would pass on them for being legally fucking retarded. Vince Young and Morris Claiborne from the Cowboys proved their stupidy with two of the lowest Wonderlic Test scores, and look at their careers.
