^ this, tbh

It seemed like the announcers were doing anything they could to jinx the Spurs at the FT line, but to no avail. :lol

Has this ever happened before in Spurs history? I'm sure we've gone without a miss, but 25 without a miss seems uncanny.

How about 40-6 bench scoring advantage.

Tbh we were locked in on that 19 game win streak before we started coasting to end the season. We were averaging 18 point wins during the streak. . .then we sputtered for 2-3 weeks. . .now it's back to dominating by 18 PPG, lol

It's easy to outscore the other team's bench when they don't have one. :lol

You beat me to this. Absolutely the difference in this series is bench scoring.

Reminds me of when we used to face those Suns teams that were only 7-8 deep.

Well it just goes to show you that sometimes you just need to get through a playoff series. You don't have to play your best you just need to survive and advance. The Spurs obviously didn't play very well in the first round but they played great basketball all year long and we're seeing it now.

Yep. It works both ways too though unfortunately. Everything gets reset with every series win. You go back to 0-0 with 0 points scored and 0 good defensive plays on the opposing team.

But that said, this team is playing great and seems to be 100%. Cannot ask for anything more right now!

Vince Carter hit an amazing shot, but if not for that, it's a five game series.

Closest I remember game 2 vs the Mavs in 03 after we dropped the first game and they hit a record Ft's in a row in game one, the Spurs made it a mission in game 2 to get to the line and black out! I remember saying we are perfect most of the night. I need to find the stats that night but we were very good from the line. I remember it well.

We started out 20-20 that game I believe but ended up 37-45 in the end! .822, I just looked that up. We were ON FIRE to start and 19-19 at one point or maybe even 20-20, I have that game in the back of my mind. Thats the last time I saw them black out like that from the line, but hardly as good as 25-25.

The best stat of the night, which was really quite astounding, actually had no bearing on who would win this game.

Best stat of the night is 3-0. This series is an anomaly. The next one won't be so easy and the Spurs won't look so smooth.

LOL at Blazers fans "Our shots are just not falling"

You idiots, compare our defensive pressure with Houston`s

btw, aren't we like 5th best regular season defense? And thats because Parker basically doesn't defend at all in regular season, we are probably tied at #1 with Indy and Miami when all teams care

Best stat: 1st career one-handed throw down by Splitter tbqh. Dude's "nasty" has set the tone for the series from the opening tip of Gm1.
