Do you think we are going to have trouble early in the WCF (assuming we win) if we play OKC or LAC? We haven't played a team that plays defense and we saw how lost Portland looked early by being used to the Houston D. Do you think this is a problem?

First, I applaud your appropriate fear of the blazers but we are up 3-0.... We're basically in the WCF. Second, Dallas was playing good D. They might not have done so in the regular season, but their team defense was undeniably good the first round. Of course next round will be tougher, be probably won't be able to shut down the stars like we did and the opposing bench will actually be a factor. Well have to wait and see who it is, and I'm truthfully concerned it will be OKC.

If Clips win today, that series would be over next Saturday, with the WCF starting ?Monday?, while the Spurs could finish Blazers tomorrow and have a full week's rest.

As we've seen several times in the past with long rest periods, the Spurs could start the WCF out of rhythm, at risk of dropping the first game.

Mavs defense was surprisingly good.

Portland, on the other hand...

Just get ready for OKC. That's it.

Rest will do us good. Just like last year. We need it for our big three.

I'm thinking Spurs will close it out on Wednesday at home. So, it is imperative that Clips win today. 4 days off would be perfect, not long enough to lose this rhythm they've established, but just long enough to get a needed rest. Go Clippers!!!

Just take care of businsess and don't give any team another chance to beat you. By the way I've read some of you write it seems like you're proposing the Spurs tank a game cause you're worried about having too much time off :lol

No adjustments for refs, everybody has to play at a high level

maybe start Diaw, OKC either going to trap or switch on Parker. He can stretch D out or he can drive while Ibaka is trying to recover to him. Duncan could get some essy looks if Perk slides over to cut him off.

Then again Splitter has been terrific, im just worried that the offense could get bogged down with Duncan and Tiago sharing the floor like the last game in OkC.

A series with OKC is a toss up. They pretty much live to beat the Spurs.
