The thin girl trend has definitely died down in SA. Don't get me wrong, I like the women with curves, but curvy and fat are not the same, girls need to realize that simply.
Anyway, girls being overweight isn't just a cosmetic issue, it's very much a health problem as well.

When I first moved here I had no idea how most mexican food was made, and since I am allergic to hot peppers, I just never eat it. But one time my grandchildren had nachos or something with re-fried beans on it and I asked my son what made it so appealing. He said "It's made with lard", and I almost fell over. Well, I am lucky enough (and I do mean lucky) to have been thin all my life…even when I really didn't want to be. I am not a native of San Antonio, and I have lived in 6 states and three countries. I live here now and I see overweight people everywhere I look. But I see the same kind of people when I go to other cities like St. Louis, Dallas, New Orleans. And I know overweight people in all of those cities and it makes my heart hurt to see them made fun of. And it does make me mad to see a FAT GUY make fun of FAT WOMEN!!!

I mean, I have heard the comedians I listed reference Fat Americans…but that is not consistently and repeatedly beating on one cities' WOMEN when they themselves are fat. I mean, none of them are…but Barkley is!!

I don't think he is targeting Mexicans, just to let you know I am Spanish. I see just as many big Caucasian girls and men as well is SA. Tex-Mex food is addicting if you don't control yourself. My uncle's wife uncle own Mi Tierra and I use to go their all the time on the Riverwalk. Mi Tierra is more dry spanish food, so it not that bad.

But place's like the Old Blanco Cafe (I love going their as a kid) and Rolando's taco's, their food was so good and the serving sizes were enormous. My father was in the military so we were only stationed at Randolph AFB for about 5 years growing up. But I spent every summer is SA until I was about 20. I am glad I didn't live their b/c I would probably been chubby like some of my cousins.

Food is SA is just really good, but its not good for you health wise. I would bet my bottom dollar Chuck pigs out there when he goes there for the WCF series games.
