That was the butt ugliest game I have EVER seen. They ALL sucked!!! WTF was that????
Ugliest game you have ever seen? I have seen 30 pt playoff losses before in Detroit or LA, are you serious? I agree it was horrible though.

Hope you're right, man. But it's not like our dominant sweep of the grizzlies in the WCF last year hurt us any heading into the Finals. Those extra days of rest were well worth it.

Good point, and quite true. However, I do think this loss is a good chance to resharpen the focus since the layoff before Game 1 was never going to be all that much. Obviously letting the series go beyond Game 5 is a horrible idea, but I don't see that happening.

Fuck I work till 9:30 pm on Wednesday, too here in California so I'll miss most of the game. I'm still gonna keep track of the game and post here but too bad it had to come to this now. Who jinxed us more, Barkley for changing his tune and calling a sweep or Amused?

Also, fellow Spurfan in California? I didn't know that.

I don't understand today's generation where even being down 0-3 in a series, just one good game you're winning means you can start posing after dunks and throwing lobs against scrubs.

In the regular season when they're down by 15 with 3 min to go, guys will still pose and posture on dunks or threes. Even in the NFL players spike and dance and shush the crowd in the 4th qtr when they're down 35-7.

I don't get it.

Yup, from the Bay Area. How about you?

Pop sees the entire chess board, not just the next move. He's thinking ahead and mitigating risk.

Stop moving goalposts :lol

Gotta give their fans something to cheer about in their last home game of the season, tbh.

Eh, no offense but that's just stupid imho.

No offense because I was joking. I don't really believe it…but he wasn't doing much in the way of the game himself, not like in the other games when he was so active.

Also, what's with our tendency to make scrubs look like all-stars off the bench? In round 1, it was blair and now it's Barton. Steve fucking Adams better not go 11-11 against us in the WCF.

I'm sure that's how Portland felt in Game 1 with Baynes.

That's true but it's been a consistent theme for us for several years. It happened last year in the playoffs too.

Eh. Spurs are the team everyone wants to beat. They have their own role players that erupt into the Unlikely Hero from time to time, they just aren't considered scrubs to begin with. Same shit, different teams.
