I noticed it only got one star. I guess it's not a great movie, but when I first saw it, it was very effective in freaking me out over the idea of foreign troops - Soviet no less- on our land.

Jennifer Grey. Yes, I think that's her. She was also in Dirty Dancing. She went and got some facial plastic surgery and lost a lot of her natural cuteness IMO.

Or maybe I'm an hour ahead of you in the movie (I'm on the east coast). The last scene there was a major tank battle going on.
I just checked out some reviews, they're pretty funny. yeah, we were pretty paranoid in the 80s...I graduated high school in 1984 and I clearly remember how freaked out the media used to get us...remember The Day After? :lmao
