Batum has completely shut him down and he hardly contributes on defense. Spurs went on a run when Parker left. Discuss.

Lebron, Thabo, Batum - put a long defender on TP and you basically shut him down.

There's a good chance this will save the Spurs series. Parker is infamous for tearing it up in the first half of series but when the opposition finds their TP stopper (not hard to find usually an athletic SF with length which are dime a dozen in the league right now) he stops scoring, turns the ball over with over-dribbling and hero-ball, and the Spurs lose.

Are you stupid? They were going to win this series regardless.

What the fuck are you watching he's the only one who showed up last game and theres many nights he defers until he has to, he may have been doing that tonight or it could be the hamstring. He was fantastic the first 3 games even played D. Do you think the last two games is the only time batum has been on Parker this series?

Well, we may be about to find out.

May find out out? It's a fact. Thunder in 2012. Heat in 2013. Prime Parker is a very ordinary player when you have a long, athletic SF on him. Compare that to prime Duncan and prime Ginobili who were both very hard to stop, even when they were playing against the league's best defenses.

Parker is 6'2".

Ginobili is 6'6".

Duncan is 6'11".

You are a riot with that take!! My response was to your suggestion that we will be BETTER without Tony and more likely to win.

Patty Mills went on a run.

Leonard and Green had alot to do with the win, TBH. Of course you only recognize your GOD Mills though.

If the injuries are all legit (which I suppose they are... though I don't remember an injury in the 2012 WCF?), then that means he is having a lot of issues staying healthy. Given that he's in his prime, that's kind of a problem, tbqh.

This. We need to take Parker and Manu out of the rotation. With them gone we can easily defeat Thunder and Heat. We'd be going a three-peat. NBA champs 2012, 13 and 14.
