I say WAS, because even though they're inexperienced, the Pacers suck dick and would get beat in 5 by the Heat. Nene and Gortat would look like the second coming of Kareem and Shaq vs Bosh, and Wall would get into the paint at will. I don't see any way the Pacers could pose a threat to the Heat when the Pacers can't even crack 90 points most days.

Pacers are finished, even if they get past the Wizards, they just won't be able to beat Miami.

But, the Wizards are an interesting pick as a wildcard. They could get totally swept, but they could also pull off a huge upset. Their youth and inexperience will be their success or downfall for them — they'll be fearless and also clueless, which could benefit or harm them at the same time.

That being said, I see Pacers vs. Heat and Heat win it in 5.

Don't be dumb, it's obviously Indy. Their frontcourt always seems to have a significant advantage when playing them.

Neither. The east is fuckin garbage besides Miami. That conference doesn't even play top level pro basketball imo. It's at least half a notch if not a full notch below the actual top level NBA basketball which is played in the western conference.

Miami, yet again, will not face real competition until the Finals. You don't see these fleeing stars going from east to west unless the biggest payday is there. It's always west to east, where it's easier.

It's still Indiana. I have a feeling the Pacers always responds better when their series is on the line. I could be wrong of course since they're so unpredictable (they absolutely blow at home but have an excellent road win record) But the Pacers may just shock the league by finally getting it together.

It's Indiana, but who cares? We can go ahead and pencil Miami in the finals now.

:lol The only threat is Miami's addiction to coasting too much. A focused Heat team beats either team in 5 games.

Not this year dude. This Heat team realized last year after going through that 7 game Indi series that ending series early is a much better idea. They won't be fucking around again.

Agree. Heat in 5 likely. 6 tops. Because of pacers home court.

Heat could dispose of Wizards in 4 again due to home court

Hawks series showed that if Spo puts Bosh at 5 and camps him at the 3pt line Hibbert is literally useless. Washington simply because I don't know what would happen. Indiana would be lucky to win 2 games against Miami.

let me tell you what would happen. Wizards young guys would choke in the spotlight the way Portland did vs. Spurs. It would be an epic beatdown.

either way Heat will sleepwalk to the Finals

Indiana has confidence against the Heat, and their gameplan wouldn't be much different than it was last year..they're easily a more difficult matchup..

Maybe if Paul George stops fingering Hibbert's girl they can push it to 7. The Pacers are not well-coached and don't seem to have the heart to take it all this year. I say 6 but it is more than likely a brief series for LeBron and his merry band of fuckers.

And this was with the Pacers at their peak. The only way this series goes more than 5 or maybe 6 games is if the refs drag it out for $$$. Which I have no doubt that they will.

That's like asking if Guatemala is a bigger threat to the U.S than Costa Rica. In the end it's not worth considering.

Pacers have some hardass nigs in the paint which were specifically acquired to cause troubles to Miami imho. Bullets play a similar high-tempo game like the Heat play but you never beat the Heat to that. The Nets had the best chance of all eastern teams to beat Miami but they got robbed by refs, expectedly.
