1) The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - epic...I was going to put OJW ahead of it but if I had to pick one to watch over and over, this would be it
2) The Outlaw Josey Wales
3) For a Few Dollars More - thought the sequel was way better than the first
4) High Plains Drifter - just like the weirdness of this one
5) Pale Rider
6) Hang em' High
7) Joe Kidd
8) Fistful of Dollars
9) Unforgiven - maybe I need to watch it again but I thought it was overrated
9) Two Mules For Sister Sarah

Good thread but you pretty much nailed it. Only one I'd change is having Unforgiven number two, The rest spot on.

Damn guy, you do have your moments, just too far and in between.

Unforgiven was good, but it's not really much of a different movie than Pale Rider, which I prefer.

The Josey Wales…
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Hang 'Em High
Bronco Billy
Paint Your Wagon
Unforgiven…AKA…The Cut Whore Killings…Kind of a dirty movie…Was not expecting that…If not for Gene Hackman (Little Bill Daggett) and Richard Harris (English Bob) this film would have bombed….Those two were hysterical...:lol

I thought Unforgiven was way overrated too.

1. G,b,u
2. Wales
3. Pale Rider

The rest of the spaghetti can be placed in any order, imo.

1a)Josey Wales and 1b)Good, Bad, and the Ugly...liked Unforgiven a lot because it is the only movie with Eastwood and Freeman co-starring in it. Two legends of the game in a genre that is readily accepted as pure Americana in base.

retired yer' Michelle avatar. I'm disappointed, tbh.

Eastwood started out as Rowdy Yates on an old tv show....Rawhide. Then the show was cancelled and we didn't see him for awhile, then here he returns as the man with no name, that was very cool. Now add that amazing soundtrack, wow!

I really like Clint Eastwood as a director, can't stand any of the movies he's in with the exception of Unforgiven.

It's funny...but indirectly, you were the cause of that. I had just used the pic but had no idea who it was. When you mentioned who it was, I had to nix the avatar.

Oh yea, I forgot about that one. I'll have to see that again but I remember it was kinda strange but I liked it.

Only seen Good, Bad, and the Ugly and Unforgiven, but loved both of them. Good, Bad, and the Ugly especially.

HPD is full of greatness. The whipping scene and the scene where he repays that chick that knocks the cigar out of his mouth by dragging her to the horse stall and fucking her in the hay immediately come to mind.

Ugh no. If I had to pick a movie that Clint Eastwood directed and starred, I'd have to go with Bridges of Madison County :lol

Well, most people that knew about her aren't teens anymore... but probably did do the deed at one point :lol. Don't let that adulterate her image, I'm sure she'll be Michelle the virgin if you think of her like that.

GBU is probably my favorite movie.
Then it would probably be Unforgiven, Josey Wales, For a Few Dollars More, and Fistfull of Dollars in that order. I've seen most of his Westerns, but the ones listed are probably the only ones I've watched multiple times.
