Okay,

One chance.

You get to name one player that will be a dominant force this year.
And no smartass remarks like "San Fran's Punter"

Kori can keep the thread and we can see throughout the season who we thought was going to kick ass and who ending up sucking the big one.

Assuming we are talking about breakout performances, I'll go with:

Rookie: I'll say Carnell Williams for Tampa Bay.
Veteran: Julius Jones is obvious, how about Jason Whitten?

The one dominant force would be LT.

Call it wishful thinking but I am expecting a big year out of Chiefs rookie Derrick Johnson.

Come on KC, I want to see some defense this year.

Kevin Jones.

I'm gonna have to agree with the Guru on this one...while I may be a homer for my Lions, Jones has proved his worth and gave a middle finger to those teams like St. Louis and Cincinnati who passed on him. Don't forget that he lead all RB's in rushing yards from week 9 on.

A close second would be Joey Harrington, did anybody happen to notice that he went 9 for 9 for just over 100 yards in his first preseason game. With Charles Rogers looking healthy, he finally has some weapons at his disposal...Joey will lead the Lions to a 10-6 record and to the playoffs--How's that for calling my shot?
