Well it depends when

Pre-1990/1991 MJ didnt the special ref treatment .... so he didnt need food stamps to shit on the Cavs imo

It was only after years of losing to Detroit that MJ and the Bulls complained to the NBA, and coincidence, the Bulls finally beat Detroit in 1991.

This is why the Pistons refused to shake hands with Chicago.

The Lakers and Celtics also got phisically abused by the Pistons, but they never complained to Stern

Well, if we're going to ignore all context by, for example, holding losing in the 2007 Finals against LeBron even though he dragged an atrocious Cleveland team there all by himself, then we can ignore the context of the NBA being a joke in Russell's era too.... by Jordan Jocker logic, 8 straight titles > 6-0 in the Finals, so Russell > DK....

i definitely see where you are coming from. people only count finals losses, which by nature of getting to the finals are more impressive than early round losses. however, i also think people point to lebron's balls shriveling in the finals (best example being 2011, and lets be honest, a good portion of 2013, although he was godly from minutes 36-47 in game 6 and the entirety of game 7) after dominating early rounds. its that he wasn't at his best in the biggest moments. there's no way you can tell me you can't see that side of the coin. for lebron to shit on opponents like chicago and boston in 2011 but then do nothing in the finals, its something that you can't really forget.

Stern changed rules to get the next Jordan. Check which year tmac Kobe iverson and stackhouse all suddenly got a huge jump in ppg and what rules were changed that year.

Jordan definitely got calls, he actually popularized the concept of superstar calls (magic and bird preceded him, but Jordan made it an obvious every fan term.), but compared to today's perimeter players, Jordan got hacked. In today's leagues, Jordan would've averaged 15 to 17 FTa a game, easy.

1990-91: Stern made the penalties for flagrant fouls harsher in an attempt to deter physical play and neuter the Bad Boys because Dad Killer whined and complained about them (mainly because he was Detroit's bitch back then)

You can thank Dad Killer's constant whining and complaining for today's so-called "pussified" league.... granted, I disagree that the league is "pussified," it's just changed from hard fouls being passed off as defense to actual defensive systems and intelligent team defense becoming the norm....

Michael Jordan never lost a series when he had home-court advantage. Boston in 86' and 87' and 59-win Milwaukee in 85' >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> any first round patsy that Lebron has played. In fact, I do not believe that any first round opponent Lebron's team played would have made the playoffs had that team been in the West (the Knicks went 36-30, same as the eight seed in the West in 2012). Lebron's teams played teams with 43 wins or fewer in every first round matchup. The Bulls frequently played teams with 47 or more wins. In 2007, the Cavs played the Nets and the Wizards, neither had a winning record, and would have missed the playoffs in the East. I will give the Cavs credit for beating the Pistons, who finished three games ahead of Cleveland. Lebron may have had a "bad team", but they didn't beat anyone who was much better (I predicted Cleveland to win that series). That being said, Jordan's teams early should have never made the playoffs (30 wins, WTF?).

Lebron is one of the greatest players ever; in my opinion, he is the most PHYSICALLY TALENTED player to ever play. He has the best basketball body the NBA has ever seen. Jordan was a prick, but he was great; his teams early on were horrid. The Heat are going to win again, and Lebron is going to add to his legacy. Unfortunately, that means no ESPN for Avery. I like Lebron; I respect his game; he is the best in the league by a large margin. However, I hate the Heat, and I further detest all of the dickriders. A few here want Lebron's cock in their mouths.

MJ is an asshole but arguably the GOAT. all the butthurt he causes for Rapist and LeRoid fans makes me appreciate 23 even more though.

What year was this gif from? Jordan won his 6th on the road on Utah's court.

It's his 5th ring. Hes holding up five, then holds up six with the "perhaps" facial expression.

I enjoy that as well, bit let's face it, if he is the GOAT, then Nike and Stern made him as such

definitely agree. I think without Nike and Stern, MJ would've easily been a top 10 player on his own. I watched an old interview with Isaiah Thomas where he thought Jordan was the best player before he rang. So he would've been a game changer regardless, but once he started making shitloads of cash for the league, Stern went overboard in protecting him.

:lol I grew up watching MJ dominate so it's pretty much impossible for any player to top him in my book, esp considering how much of a cynical asshole I've become as I've gotten older.

But that aside, Bron's 2011 Finals Performance ruined any chance of him ever overtaking Jordan tbh. He was terrible in that series. He's got a decent shot at becoming No. 2 all time and that's a great accomplishment considering he's the most physically gifted athlete to ever play in the NBA.
