The Thunder are now 15-19 in the past five postseasons when Russell Westbrook takes at least 20 shots; they are 19-7 when he attempts fewer than 20 shots.

I believe that this will be a very very tough game. The Thunder have been resting their starters as well as we have, (and Durant really needed this time off) and they have been reminding themselves how to play with offensive and defensive sets, as opposed to the one-on-one that has characterized their
play so far in this series.

So the Thunder will come out with high emotion(Ibaka will be suited up if not in the starting line-up, and I believe he will be in the starting line-up), high energy, raucous crowd, plenty of rest and some game plan wrinkles.

Oh, and the refs will have Leonard on the bench in the first quarter, just like last game, and likely Splitter or Parker as well.

We will have to play the best ball we have played so far in the playoffs to get past them, and I believe the outcome will be in doubt well into the fourth quarter.

I hope we can win this one. I believe that we can. But I also believe it will be tougher than any other one we have played.

If we can win this, then we can throw game four like the portland series. No one wants to get swept on their home floor, and if you don't give them something, they may end up hurting one of your players just out of frustration and embarrassment. But we aren't there yet. We still have to win a third game.

You guys think the Spurs are giving the Thunder some payback for what happened two years ago? Blowing a team out in historic proportions for a conference finals is probably proof of this. If this is true and the Spurs are playing with motivation and playing with "appropriate fear" of having respect for OKC and what they could do, then there's no way the Spurs are losing this game.

Foster, Kennedy and Washington are tonight's refs.

The Spurs will benefit from some rest, but so will Durant, who really looked spent in the last game. If Ibaka takes the court, there will an emotional uplift that the Thunder will get from it. If the Spurs can keep Ibaka in check and withstand a better shooting game from Westbrook and Durant, which I completely expect given how poorly they have shot so far, then we can still pull this out.

The Thunder players are on record as saying that they were practicing good ball movement and team play, which they didn't exhibit any of during the first two games. I think they will play much better, and we will have a hard time matching them.

I hope we win. I do not think it will be easy (but then I didn't think the last game would be either). I hope we don't let up, no matter the score or how hard they come out of the gate.

Yeah right we can only hope they throw the ball to their scrubs a lot. These monkey ballers will revert to hero/monkey ball shortly after breaking a sweat.

This has been covered, as soon we punch them in the mouth they will be same old OKC, plus a few lucky shots added for the home crowd. Unfortunately for them they may have used up that quota in game 1!

At this point, the Thunder are left searching for answers and grasping for straws. They have nothing left but to cling to rhetoric, gimmicks, and blind hope (in the form of the specter of a one-legged Ibaka).

The Spurs, on the other hand, have a mission. They've seen this movie once already, and they are determined to pen a new ending.

I don't honestly know much about these refs (Scott Foster, Tom Washington and ____ Kennedy). If we play well enough, we will overcome the refs, although they sure took Leonard out of the game quickly enough last game. Don't doubt that they will do the same again tonight. I expect Durant and/or Westbrook to go off because they are both overdue, but I think we can survive one or the other - just not both at the same time.

"One thing I'm going to say ... I've been hearing a lot of people saying my team lost two games because I was out," Ibaka said. "It's not true. It's not true. I believe in my guys. I believe in my teammates, that they can do better, with me or without me. It's not an excuse because Serge Ibaka was not there. It's just that San Antonio the first two games, they played better basketball. We need to give them a lot of credit."

Well, if Ibaka plays with little mobility, then we front him with Baynes and never let him catch the ball…it will be hard for him to score without the ball.

And on their defense, we play Diaw to pull him out to the three point line…just keep him moving all the time, every play.

All e can do is play the game.

Don't like the new starting 5 for OKC. TP is usually a monster in the first quarter, it's always when he's most aggressive. Let Thabo make him pass the ball for 8 minutes and he usually has a pretty reserved game.

These moves don't just wreak of desperation, its as if they set up a fan and are blowing it at the spurs with hurricane force winds. They take their one reliable bench player and insert him into the line-up and then put their "out-for-the-playoffs" big man in the starting line up. OKC better hope they paid the refs enough this game, because if not they don't have any more tricks to pull.

Thabo has been replaced in the starting lineup by Reggie Jackson, hasn't he? Isn't the starting lineup tonight Perkins, Ibaka, Durant, Westbrook and Jackson? I'm assuming that this is Brooks' way of trying to put enough shooters on the floor that they can save Durant and Westbrook for later in the game because both Jackson and Ibaka can make some shots.

joey Crawford would've been good news, Bill Kennedy is fine by me, and pretty much any ref that hasn't been involved in a high profile screwup these playoffs. Tom Washington reffed OKC-LAC in the fixed game & Scott Foster made like 200+ phone calls to Tim Donaghey when that was going on.

Right, I'm saying it doesn't make much sense to replace Thabo and put WB on Parker to start. Who scores off the bench for OKC now?

FUCK. Foster and Washington is a pretty deadly combination.

NBA referee Tim Donaghy made repeated phone calls to a second referee at the same time he provided inside information to professional gamblers during the course of the 2006-2007 season, according to court documents and phone records obtained by FOXNews.com.
The records show Donaghy placed 134 calls to referee Scott Foster — more than the 126 calls Donaghy made to his bookie — between October 2006 and April 2007, the period during which he has confessed to either betting on games or passing on game information to gamblers. The majority of the phone calls lasted no more than two minutes and occurred prior to and after games Donaghy officiated and on which he admits wagering.
With the exception of 150 calls Donaghy placed to Thomas Martino, to whom he says he provided “picks” to win games and who was the middleman between the disgraced referee and a bookie named James Battista, the ex-ref phoned no one more than he called Foster. During this period, the most calls Donaghy made to any other referee were 13.

Who knows what he can do or not do. Of course the douchebag that coaches that team says Ibaka has NO restrictions on his playing time. Right. I'll believe that when I see it. They are shooting him up right now and hoping for the best.

Ibaka will be able to maybe play one game after a week and a day off. What about the rest of the way? This is last stand time for them and they know it. Ibaka can heal over the summer if he gets hurt. He may even try to take one of our guys with him.

I imagine he'll set some moving screens and try to stay at the rim and contest. Whatever. Spurs gotta fight through it, take care of the ball, and (hopefully) not contribute to a foul shooting contest for OKC.

I'm sure this game will be a tough one, mainly because of the league's hard on for OKC. As long as the refs aren't as bad as they were in Game 5 against the Clippers, Spurs should be able to adapt. Even as bad as they were, Clippers still almost won that despite lots of terrible possessions.

I'm really curious to see how many minutes Ibaka actually gets. Brooks apparently has no intention to limit him. We know what the Spurs offense looks like when Adams/Collison are in the paint, but Ibaka's effectiveness at shutting down the penetration remains to be seen and his spurts on the court will test Pop's game plan - and I have full faith that Pop HAS a game plan for a lineup featuring Ibaka.

Ibaka will miss eventually tbh. Let him run himself dry in the first quarter. Just keep Spur basketball up...

I'll give Ibaka credit, not sure how he keeps concentration with Kerr and Albert jacking him off.

At least one of the announcers is realistic. I'm surprised Reggie can even talk with his mouth so full...

I am really impressed with our team, usually we'd let this game get away when players like Ibaka go off on us. We forced them to call a timeout... Good sign?

OKC hasn't missed yet. Jacking up shots and they're going in. They'll cool down. Spurs need to keep this close and reality will hit and OKC won't make flukey crap.

I knew OKC was full of shit. They just got cocky and thought they could split in SA. Ibakas injury was never that serious.
