That last line is more proof that Pop plans to retire when Duncan does. I hope he changes his mind to try and mold the Parker/Green/Leonard/Splitter group into a good team, but Pop has definitely earned the right to retire on his own terms.

I think the Spurs will bring back Bud once Pop retires.

Maybe. I definitely think they will go to a coach with Spurs ties and there are plenty of them out there. My own preference would be George Karl. He's old school and has proved he can be a head coach in this league.

But I'm biased because I knew him as a friend outside of the arena back in the day when he was a player.
