Where would current Timmy be in the draft?

If TD was coming out of college and could play at his current level (no upside) for 5 years, would he be a #1 pick?
I have to believe that a big man with those skills and fundamentals is certainly a top 5. Would anyone take a chance
on another college player that might have more potential but also would have to develop his game?

I've seen some mock drafts (too many to know which is which), but some have compared Joe Embid (spelling?) to Tim Duncan. So yes, I imagine Tim would be the a top 3 pick, if not #1.

TD, playing the way he is today on the downside of his career, would be in the top 10 at the very least IMHO.

All the lotto teams want a guy for the long haul, not a guy who'll fall apart after 5 years. They'd have to trade the pick to a contender for a semi young guy to make it worth their while. So somewhere 9-14 imo.

Tim would be the number one pick because scouts would have had 4 years to analyze his game. The problem with the potential of a Parker or, even more, Embid and Wiggins is that you have barely had one college season to see them play. While Parker got a ton of minutes and produced quite a bit (still losing in the first round of the tournament), Embid was injured and Wiggins was up and down. It's hard to predict how good these guys will be. But with a known commodity like TD, and how good he was, he would be the easy number one pick.

Easy number 1. His experience and leadership is light years a head of anyone coming out of college.

He'd be picked 7th by the lakers. Great value with a rookie contract. In theory they want to win with Kobe but his contract says otherwise. Anyways Tim's contract would offset Kobe's bad contract and allow them to put together a competitive team.

He'd be a great pick to trade. No legit rebuilding team would put their hopes into a 38 year old bigman.

But he's just young enough for the Spurs to trade for.
