I recently bought a hybrid that gets 50 mpg. As someone who loves powerful mechanical things, driving it is pretty much a soul-crushing experience. But, I did it for my wallet -- not the environment.

I've converted my Denali to burn coal.

Why do you hate polar bears?

I only shoot rabbits with brass, not lead, for the environment. I shoot the targets three feet way from the dead rabbits with lead cause the law says that's okay.

Wow.

That's much better than most. I'm not worried about these issues like many are. having an abundance of clean energy here in Oregon, I have recently bought more than $500 in LED lighting. That's really about it. My WS6 gets about 17MPG city.... Not very economical...

I need to fix my faucet plug. Damn thing broke and I trickle water now when I shave... It won't fill up :(
I do use an old school straight blade now so less waste.

I also reload brass so less pollution.

hmmm

solar array on house

switched to LED's @ house

all water saver plumbing fixtures

I usually pee outside at the house and ranch

switching to LED's at office/shop

downsized from 3/4 ton truck to 1/2 ton truck

recycle about 100,000# of steel every year

recycled about 7000# of copper this year

planted 150 tree orchard at ranch

purchased 2 obama electric vehicles for ranch :-)

bought a dual carb VW sand rail/dune buggy for when the EV's won't cut it but don't need the truck. Who says saving energy can't be fun?

I let ants feed off my oozing wounds.

I then collect them and feed them to lizards which I then export to Singapore via sailing vessel.

I use propane instead of charcoal grill.

I throw stuff in the recycle bin.

I got a low flow toilet and I piss in the sink when I'm drunk.

That's about all I can think of.

I have two SUV's which guzzle gas. (good for economy, keeps the oil patch going). Leave lights burning all hours of the day and night, CEO of CPS needs those big bonuses. I cheat on watering. I figure if we run low on water, really low, the politicians will get off their duff and get a plant down on the coast to desalinate water.

In short, damned if I am going to change my lifestyle too much to suit any tree huger. Most conservationist have done more to harm than to improve. IMO.

I ask for paper bags at the grocery store and save them to use for starters in my fireplace.

I reuse water bottles multiple times.

sort all my trash in blue and brown bins

took up SAWS offer of two free low-flow toilets

hvac only in my bedrooms, home office, so electricity bill consistently under $100.

sewer surcharge exceeds my water usage charge

don't drive a look-at-me land yacht nor a dimestore cowboy, macho man pickup.

got 360 Km on my salvage-title camry, will replace with hybrid or diesel or ev

Think it's been over a year since they stopped using plastic bags at checkout for grocery stores in Austin. Don't really miss them tbh

When living in the states I would piss outside as much as possible. While here I try to piss in gatorade bottles at night, which also helps me interpret my fluid intake/outake.
