Pretty much puts the icing on the cake, doesn't it? Let's see how the refs handle all of this.

Thunder will get the initial bump in enthusiasm but that will last only about 5 minutes. If he is 60%, it's better for him to sit out.

Pop to Tony: Go at him, hard.

We need to worry that Scotty might say the same to Serge. He's a big dude and he's got little to lose by being physically aggressive.

Especially with the refs on his side tonight. TP better have his jumper working tonight.

Spurs will go at him early and often. He's not anywhere close to 100%. My guess is he's going to hurt more than help okc. We shall see.

Not worried about him going off like he did in 2012 scoring. I look at what Splitter has done against Dirk/Aldridge and Ibaka isn't the threat neither of them are. Defensively it'll change some things. But we should still be able to put up points. Our shooters will need to be on. Can't shy away on the road. Mainly Danny/Kawhi/Patty and Marco if he plays.

If it was really as serious as they indicated earlier, I don't think that they would have done so.

Except that Parker played with a grade 2 strain in the Finals last year.

This is exactly how I feel. After the initial adrenaline rush wears off he might be more of a detriment to that team. The Spurs need to attack Ibaka and force him to be mobile on that calf.

Durant is so mentally weak he needs Ibaka out there for motivation. Seriously, Durant is the most passive superstar I've ever seen. And he fails at hiding it too. He's second in the league in technicals because he KNOWS he's weak-minded and is trying to prove that he isn't.

I mean look, I was touched by his MVP speech like everyone else--but it was SO WIERD seeing him breakdown crying like that. It was like he was giving a eulogy for...himself. And it always feels that way with him on the court. He's just ready to check out of the game mentally and let Westbrook take over. Don't blame Westbrook. Blame Durant.

He'll never win a ring. And Westbrook is going to leave OKC. Durant won't, because he doesn't want to offend OKC fans, because he's a wimp. I'm done with Durant. He should have never won the MVP. It's too bad Lebron won't be able to crush him in the Finals again to prove who the real MVP is, again.

Seriously, if the injury was ever as bad as Presti said, Ibaka would have traveled with the team for the first two games in San Antonio to cheer for them from the bench instead of rehabbing for a hopeless situation. When he didn't come for those games I knew he would likely play later this series. Anyone expecting a 50% Ibaka today is going to be in for a rude awakening. He didn't have the injury Presti claimed. He was never out for the series.

Ibaka - "It's 100 percent going to hurt," he said Saturday. "For sure if the doctor gives me the OK and I feel better tomorrow, I will be 100 percent with the pain for sure, but like I said, I'm going to do whatever it takes to help my team."

This is no Willis Reed situation (a couple of inspirational minutes then bench time).

Expect Ibaka to be 100% and even pounding his chest to emphasize the point.

The Spurs will have to play with the ferocity of a lied-to lover in order to win this game.

Of course it isn't, but ESPN will milk the fuck out of it like it is as the majority of those watching have no idea the actual events surrounding that WR game.

It's TNT. Marv Albert was the Knicks radio play-by-play guy for that game 44 years ago. They'll probably have Marv reflect on that game.

OKC swept them the last 4 playoff games as well.

With Ibaka playing, OKC has won the last four regular season games straight and the last four playoff games straight vs. the Spurs.

This is 2003 vs. the Lakers redux. Hopefully, a similar ending.

First the media goes crazy with saying w/o Ibaka and now they're going to praise the man from returning from such a "painful" injury to play and help his teammates. I hope the Spurs come out and curb stop these guys. It'd be so sweet to hear all this praise and then have the spurs come in and completely destroy any thought of a comeback.

We're talking about a team who needed the Clippers to hand them two games to make it to the western conference finals. Westbrook is slow by the 3rd quarter. All his regular season running around doesn't translate as well to the playoffs when everyone else is going full speed. It works, but at a much dire cost to his endruance. Without team ball, they'll wear out against a team like the spurs who are designed to wear and tear.

I saw this being a good series, but never thought the Thunder were favorites to win. Everyone was going off of regular season games, which Pop does not game plan to the fullest. The Blazers had their way with the spurs in the regular season, and killed them with athleticism, just like the thunder. The spurs system is designed to nullify that. People dont give Pop enough credit, he definitely spent all summer and season thinking about the finals...

Ibaka isn't changing the outcome of this series, 100% or not.

Yes, and not 2004 vs the Lakers, which had a similar beginning.

2004 the Spurs were in close games both times and just out-executed the Lakers the last 5 minutes or so, just like Miami did Indiana last night. But in 03 the Spurs dropped the same kind of nasty beatdown on LA that they did OKC last game. Bruce Bowen also had 7 threes in Game 2.

Of course, if it's like the 03 Lakers series the Spurs will get completely destroyed today and then have the refs steal game 4, with Kawhi fouling out in 14 minutes tbh.

Conley and Allen weren't 100% in game 7 as well as Zebo being gone. Memphis had no chance in game 7. No matter. The only thing that can beat the Spurs, is the Spurs.
