If the ref screwjob / freethrow parade occurs one more time for okc, im done with the nba. Ive seen it too many times and its stupid to keep getting so emotionally invested in something that is clearly scripted

We say this........but we ol' sports will still come back. Although I seriously may be done if the Thunder get another free throw parade

It has a Hollywood script written all over, Durant gets mvp, ibaka playes the series injured, Thunder goes to the finals and win in game 7

Then...'he might come back!'...the speculation begins...everyone remembers his miracle games- against only the spurs-where he goes 11-11. When what happens then?? Wait for it...wait for it...ibaka 'miraculously' heals from his season ending injury in only a week, and starts game 3.. takes first shot of the game (makes it of course), and if first 10 minutes of game shoots 5 shots (makes all of them), blocks a bunch of shots, grabs a bunch of rebounds, then 'hobbles off court' to keep up the drama. Game is dead even going into half time. Second half starts, okc shoots 26 freethrows before the spurs shoot any, okc blows out spurs in 'stunning emotional victory'. Pure WWF.

Well, I'll be unable to watch Game 4 and maybe even Game 5.

On the bright side, when I check the internet, the game will be all over and I don't have to suffer the roller coaster ride of watching/checking it live.

You shouldn't have even bothered watching Game 3.

I didn't.

We all knew the the hard fix was coming.

However,

we didn't know it would be an all time fix.

Stop whining. The refs did not cost Spurs game. Try boxing out on the boards, Spurs. Try not making stupid passes, try to match the physicality. If Spurs do those three things, they usually win.

05-26-2014, 08:20 AM
They certainly could've played better but c'mon how could you not lose your will when anytime you try to defend its a foul. Then you have to back off they get in a rhythm and game over! F the refs!

The only way OKC can win is by the refs helping them.....why is that.....whats the deal with the refs man crush on OKC...you don't see the refs helping the spurs to win games...spurs just win fair and square....If the refs do the same thing in game 4 im never going to take the nba or the refs serious....fake sports

It has a Hollywood script written all over, Durant gets mvp, ibaka playes the series injured, Thunder goes to the finals and win in game 7

The refs will try to make this a repeat of 2012, too much risk for the thunder to lose a game 7, Spurs must win game 5, everything hinges on that game, everything (unless of course we pull a miracle and win game 4)

Some take it too seriously, as Pop says.

That is Pops coping mechanism for failure, it clearly means a lot to him if he had a month of sleepless nights after the finals because of losing. He just says it as a gift to fans to help them get over losses and put things in perspective but he ultimately cares a whole hell of a lot.

If Spurs lose both games 4 and 5. I am done with basketball as well folk :lmao

Sure this shit will not compare to last Finals loss not even close. But just cant stomach another nuclear meltdown from these Spurs.

I doubt it will happen but the seeds have been planted :lmao

Ok game 4 then. Same difference, different day.

Pretty different proposition though - being 3-0 up vs 2-1

If the ref screwjob / freethrow parade occurs one more time for okc, im done with the nba. Ive seen it too many times and its stupid to keep getting so emotionally invested in something that is clearly scripted

My feelings exactly. Its become entertainment not sports. The Reding in ball can totally dictate the game where other sports its less. You literally can give and take points. Now the spurs did play like junk last night but I just so not enjoy the game as much cause of all the flopping whinning traveling beyond travels thousand time outs and such poor basketball overall.

Agreed.
As poop said is clearly scripted so its only for idiots by definition, I donīt like to invest time in something that is so fucking impure this shit is getting old.

No. The point was the offensive rebounds. 14 for Portland in that game, 15 for OKC in last night's game.

Jamie Foxx should play Ibaka n mark walhberg should be brooks

He'd just need a few more inches of height and we'd have ourselves quite a film

If Spurs lose both games 4 and 5. I am done with basketball as well folk :lmao

Sure this shit will not compare to last Finals loss not even close. But just cant stomach another nuclear meltdown from these Spurs.

I doubt it will happen but the seeds have been planted :lmao

Win or lose this season I've already pledged to curb my Spurs addiction next year. Won't stop being a fan but going to try and pay significantly less attention.

I dont have a problem enduring brutal heartbreaking losses...as long as they lose fair and square. Such as game 3 vs dallas this year where we lost on carters 3. Its a TOTALLY DIFFERENT THING, however, when you can clearly see the game being manipulated before your eyes by the officials. It has been as bad as ive ever seen it this year. They have literally bailed OKC out of every series so far..its amazing to see. If thisoccurs again, the obviously wrong calls, momentum changing bad calls, freethrow parades for okc...then theres no point watching or getting emotionally invested. Its a farce

I get people's fear of watching this sometimes. I turned off the game in the fourth quarter for awhile. It was not looking legit to me. The Patty call was complete bullshit. Someone needs to call those fuckers out on that and the historical 3rd quarter from hell. Lord do I hope we kill them tonight. Someone needs to put Adams on his ass....please!

Oh, Gee!!

Fisher will hit 6 3pters, Sef will have a breakout game as will the thunder bigs, OKC will shoot 42 FT's.

spurs win.

Oh, Gee!!

I dont get the point of being a fan if you dont watch the games, especially the playoffs. It would be like being a fan of a band or actor yet not going to the concerts, listening to the music, or watching the movies.

I kind of felt it was about to happen. The Spurs weren't doing a good job of keeping people in front of them and the Thunder were determined to get in the paint. That's a bad combination.

Fuck this joke.

I'm out too.

I'll be watching press conferences after the game and somebody needs to throw away $25k to call this shit out.

At least Stern tried to hide this shit. Silver don't give a fuck.

just looking at the boxscore not much jumps at me except 7 TOs by the Spurs. 3 by OKC and zero by Durant + WB. that pretty much tells the story. smh

as I said just looking at the boxscore it's all about the turnovers. Westbrook and Durant have ZERO TOs. If that keeps up in the 2nd half this is going to be a beating of monumental proportions.

enjoy the game folks :lol

Unless you enjoy seeing the Spurs humiliated, maybe it's time to see what's on the Netflix tonight :cry
