As many of you know, I was temporarily banned the other day for posting a picture of my penis, tbh..in all honesty, this was just a feeler to ascertain the forum's reaction to homosexuality, in this case, a male poster posting an image of male genitalia..

I can no longer live this lie on ST, tbh..

I'm a long-time SpursTalk poster. And I'm gay.

I didn't intend to be the first openly gay poster on SpursTalk, but since I am, I'm proud to have this conversation..I wish I wasn't the poster creating this thread to declare that "I'm different"..if I could have it my own way, somebody else would have made this thread, nobody has, so I pressed the "submit new thread" option, tbh..

I realized I needed to go public when Koolaidman, the original man in the closet, was recently banned..I was secretly holding out until he admitted the obvious, but it was too late, tbh..

Nobody wants to live in fear, tbh..I'm careful not to say the wrong thing on ST..I've endured years of misery and gone to enormous lengths to live this lie, exacerbated by this forum's tendency to use the word "faggot"..it killed me every time I read it..

I'm glad I'm coming out in 2013 rather than 2003, tbh..the climate has shifted, so has public opinion..I've wondered how my fellow STers will react..the simple answer is, I have no idea, tbh..I hope for the best, but I plan for the worst..

I hope I have blazed a path for others to come out, this was necessary in the sports forum community, I hope my revelation will help mitigate the fear of those still in the closet..

I did something for the first time and wish I used more caution in the process. I used MySpace to look up matches for dating. I had a few interesting returns, replies, and dinners out of the deal. However, I had one experience I regret. One person I found that I started chatting with, I really liked. She appears to be my intellectual equal, and make more money than I do. After going though her photo's for the second time, I noticed one of her new house had the number clearly visible. That alone wouldn't be much, but her city was Gresham Oregon which is maybe only 75,000 population. It was a flag lot which there aren't many of. The photos clearly indicated they were clearly taken within a short time of the summer solstices and close to noon, because if the angle of the shade. Because of this, I knew the orientation of her driveway was in the general direction of north. It was obvious she would be easy to find. I wanted to warn her this was a photo to remove, so I did. Since people have a hard time believing my capabilities, I went to Google Maps satellite view, and found her house in under ten minutes. Probably three or four. I then mailed her with the request she remove the picture with the house number and sent the satellite link showing her property too.

Guess what. She freaked. I guess that's understandable, but now she doesn't want anything to do with me. Here I am looking out for her, and get bit for doing what I thought was the right thing to do. At least she removed the photo. I wish I handled it differently. Warning her that it could be done, then when she didn't believe me, find her house and show her. For me, it was a game. I like solving puzzles. In the end, it doesn't matter. She's not good enough for me is she's going to be so judgmental.

Long story short. Be careful what information you post on the internet.

Today I called maintenance to fix my closet door that continued to fall off in my shitty apartment. In doing so, I accidentally slipped out that I had two pet cats. I woke up from a nap to see that I received a default on my lease stating I need to get rid of my cats or else I would receive a fee.

This apartment has been horrible. It's nice and right by campus, however, there has been multiple issues with the apartment. I also have no interest in removing my cats from the premises. I can pay a fee of $300 and keep ONE cat, but that seems not likely because these two cats are related and they cannot be separated.

I am pondering not paying the fine and getting evicted. I am a college student; therefore I am broke and cannot afford to pay all these stupid ass fees and continue paying rent. I am sure I'm not the only one that has been through this, so I need advice on the best possible option and/or what I should do or if I'm not making the 'smart' decision.

If you guys need any more information, I will be happy to give it to you.
