View Full Version : Where does Westbrook rank on the ref-reliant Spurs opponents list, tbh?..

Malik Hairston

The majority of his FTAs in this series have been subjective calls with him blindly driving, mostly iffy calls..

Defensively, he has been hacking Spurs players all over the court with no calls..

Tonight, he blatantly stepped out of bounds during a steal on Tony Parker without a call, while the announcers literally laughed about it and blamed his athleticism for fooling the ref:lol..

He has only been called for 1 technical fou in the series, despite constently berating the refs and taunting players with his zoo antics..

Where does Chimpbrook rank on the list?..

the players at this point are literally out of ideas on how to defend westbrook. even if they back off, he just accelerates into them, throws a retarded hook off the side of the backboard, and gets 2 free throws.

The problem with this strategy is that the majority of Westbrook's drawn fouls are ticky-tack calls where the defender doesn't even realize that he committed a foul:lol..

you're right. Kobe would do that rapist snarl, but Chimpbrook just stares down anyone like some NWA. I can't believe the shit he gets away with. He has to be at the top of protected players.

If they're going to blatantly let him get away with everything, then they need to start hard fouling that bitch.

Westbrooks foul calls go against everything basketball fundamentals teaches. You can't keep rewarding a guy that is so out of control when he drives to the bucket. Players are literally backing away and still getting called for fouls. The refs keep bailing him out.

Just showing that it's not uncommon for the best players in the game to get to the line about 10 times a game. There are some excursions but Westbrook won't average 14 trips a game. Tony, on the other hand, has had 2 FTA in the past 3 games combined.

+10000. It's annoying as fuck. And I don't see what he's done in his career to deserve these calls. He's out of control about 70-80% of the time and barrels into a defender in the paint and gets the call. It's pretty pathetic..

What does he think "nasty" means, scowling? Nasty is sending Russ to the lockerroom with a mouth full of bloody chicklets after he ventures into the paint one too many times. Same with Durant, you cannot block that nigga, but you can take his legs out from under him. See how well that wire frame holds up to that fall a few times.

Thinking OKC in 7, D?

Tonight, he blatantly stepped out of bounds during a steal on Tony Parker without a call, while the announcers literally laughed about it and blamed his athleticism for fooling the ref:lol..

The cherry on top is that he also traveled on the dunk that followed the steal, unless my eyes were cheated by some spell.

All I know is this. Not one spurs guard was able to make Westbrook pay for gambling on D. Not one player took advantage of the overplaying . Pathetic effort by the guards who all seem to be in snooze mode with the dribble. You don't have to be athletically gifted to get around a guy that's taking a chance. All it requires is smarts and ball control.

The refs rewarded and protected the guy that was playing aggressive. Where's that guy for the Spurs. Green, kawai and Splitter are all going into a shell.

If you're going to foul him at least lay some wood so he thinks twice.

+1,000,000

Paging SJax, Robert Horry, or Bruce Bowen.

We've got too many French/Euro pussies on the team. We need an enforcer to lay the fucking wood on that frog-faced motherfucker. If Pop is going to play scrubs, might as well have Ayers cheap shot Westbrook.

Then he gets the foul call, and still bitches to the official.

No one is going to cheap shot RW on the Spurs. It's not how they play. If you cannot beat the guy, beat the guy. Is that the philosophy now?
