in relation to the comments by Miller and Kerr. One thing for sure going into game 6. The Spurs have gotten over that mental hump they faced in Ibaka and OKC as a team with the win
This. I still think we're headed for a Game 7, but dropping the hammer on OKC with Ibaka playing 27 minutes has to feel so good.

What ever happened to Marco's offense? In the regular season he looked like a genuine ball handler, someone who you could run PnR with and he'd make smart decisions. These days he's a bad spot up shooter that never dribbles more than twice.

Monumental win. I was sure the Thunder were starting to avalanche. I did not expect this. Overcoming 27 minutes from Ibaka on the floor, a huge first half from Westbrook, and playing their game the way they want. This performance has to feel so good, after 2012 and after those seven consecutive losses against Ibaka.
Worst case scenario now, this buys the Spurs a Game 7.

The losses in games 3 and 4 were ugly, but they weren't the blowouts like games 1, 2 and 5. Announcers are trying to equate the two - and it's not really the same. For instance, in game 4, OKC had to keep their starters in even in the 4th quarter because our bench was playing so well.

The questionable calls came at the exact times when the Spurs were about to catch the Thunder. Also, the FT disparity in the second half was criminal.
None of that shit matters now, though. Spurs in 7.

Why KD and Westchimp always must do the post game conference together?
Like Wade and Bron.

How come our destiny is always like that? why do we have to lose every big game? why do I need to be hurt after every important playoffs game? why God dont allow us to enjoy the moment of winning championships?
why we have to be beat? why do we have to suffer a heart broken backdoor swept?
why?Can we afford the Game 5 loss? I dont know cause I really dont want to imagine how hurt will it be.
We have a 62 wins season the overall first thoughout the league. we have won the coach of the year.I dont want to see that we finish the season like that.
Spurs fans . we should have a remarkable summer and why?

Bonner was terrible. I hope he doesn't see a second in Game 6 and if Ibaka is out then the Spurs should go small.
Box score was empty, but his job was to keep Ibaka away from the rim which he did well. Had a few open looks and couldn't knock them down. He's probably pretty rusty I'd imagine.

The questionable calls came at the exact times when the Spurs were about to catch the Thunder. Also, the FT disparity in the second half was criminal.
None of that shit matters now, though. Spurs in 7.
I like any good Spurs fans questioned the 22-0 free throw disparity in significant knee jerk fashion. It was hard to stomach in the context of live watching in a hotel bar. Returning home with my DVR, almost all of the Spurs shooting fouls on OKC were OBVIOUS. We played like shit and deserved to get whooped. OKC some credit for the perfectly scripted Ibaka return yada yada.
If you went back after cooling down and rewatched the game like I did, and don't agree, you are a BLIND HOMER.
Regardless, as you alluded to, Spurs fans unite we are back in the hunt and in command of the series again no less!

We didn't want to win by 40-50 points anyway, that might have pissed OKC off a bit too much!

ST thinks past series control the future.
See 2nd go round with Memphis after we lost to them 1st round.
Oh no it's 2-2 just like last year, it will therefore end up 4-2 again, they sweep us last 4...
Just go with a pie to the face, please.
nice win by the Spurs...now that you think of it as Kerr or was it Reggie suggesting that the Spurs might take Game 6 off and just prepare for Game 7, since they haven't won in OKCs homefloor..hmm..
i'm still pissed with the Ginobili missed dunk no foul and they gave Russel "TMNT" Westbrook a 3 free throw shot at the other end..NBA after reviewing the game should hand out suspensions or fine for referrees missing calls.

What's with Durant wearing a backpack in the press conference?
That is where he keeps a box of kleenex in case he starts crying!

Just a huge, huge faggot IMO

broke the 2012 backdoor sweep curse
broke the streak where spurs couldn't beat okc with ibaka
broke the streak where okc was undefeated with brothers officiating
set nba record for streak of 7 home wins by 15+

Tim and Pop are both quitters, tbh. I am so disillusioned by these last two years.
Pop taking Tim out in final moments. Tim missing easy-ass layups against Shane Battier. Tim looking really hesitant to take any shot further than 2 ft from the basket.
It all makes sense now. I've been denying it since Tim missed that putback against the Pistons in '05 only to have Horry save our asses, but it is plain as day:
Tim's mentally weak, so is Pop and that mentality is reflected in our team when times get tough. It's not that he's just old. There is just lack of will and waaaay too much fear.
There's still room on the Heat bandwagon. You can leave your username at the door on the way out.

Spurs got more free throws bc they were the aggressors. Thunder get more when they are. Its not conspiracy.

Anyone have a clip of this? I was waiting for that moment when Manu would rise up and throw down a hammer dunk on these OKC clowns. I assumed it was a clean block but don't recall a replay that showed it. I will go back and look myself if anyone can provide the minute mark (approx) of that.
The amazing thing---almost unBELIEVEABLE thing--was that the TNT crew actually admitted it was a foul and a missed call, instead of "good acting."

They didnt show it on TV, it was when the game was 29-29 I believe, and actually after that the Thunder missed like 6 of 7 shots and the Spurs began to pull away.

That was honestly when the game turned. The Thunder were scoring at will and then the fan ran on the court, they miss a bunch of shorts and the Spurs take the lead for the rest of the game. I remember thinking to myself; "imagine if this turns everything around" and it did.

Truth is truth, bub. I call it like I see it always.
You telling me they never quit on plays/games?
Stop it.
Being a fan isn't about ignoring what's going on. Fact of the matter is when Tim dials in and acts with confidence on the court, we get better results. But he quits sometimes.
Pop too.
