He has some tricky shots in the lane, some spin moves, some French off the glass, some tear drops but really at his age injury or not right now where does he rank as an athlete?
Who wins in a sprint? Tony or Corey Joseph? Who wins in leaping ability (see Serge Ibaka). Who wins in defensive slides? Who wins in flexibility?
I would say as an athlete, Tony Parker isn't even top 30 at his position.
He has no wingspan. Back and hamstrings are so tight he can't get low on defence. Constantly arms on his hips / waist.
Doesn't have amazing handles, or jumper, or passing ability. What is so special here?
