Incredible. Poor guy was just trying to get a foul actually called by the refs against the Thunder. If I could afford it, I'd pay it for him.

Then why don't you take up a collection. Tell Spurstalk to empty their pockets.

So is flopping unless it's a Spur doing it.

When your bigs are flopping instead of defending, you're in trouble already. Spurs stopped defending after that horrid 3rd quarter FT display. Might as well just not even dress out for the next game if you're not going to defend.

Tiago tried to buy a foul and the would not sell it to him.....

It's tough to defend when you're lying on your back.

i'm fine with the flopping fines. if he's going to be a faggot and fall down instead of focusing defensively (could have deflected the entry pass, etc), then he deserves to be fined. my issue with this is how inconsistent they are, letting 95% of blatant flops go unpunished

I'm not sure what the big deal with flopping is. If a player wants to do it, let him do it. Big deal.

Meh, it was expected. But how about some of the bullshit Westbrook and Durant pull to get calls? No fine there?

The big deal is it takes the offensive player out of the play. Have you ever seen a defender properly defend while lying on his back?

Okay, I can understand implementing this rule but how is it the guys that flop ALL the fucking time don't get fined because they are protected? Durant did two of the worst fouls in this playoffs and nothing. I'm done, this is my last year watching the NBA because this unfair bullshit is just ridiculous to me.

I would like to see the play.

I feel bad for Tiago too. But the guy's making $8M per year. $5,000 is spare change for him.

All rigged, like Hyman Roth said in Gothfather II, or our olīsports said in Catch Me If You Can.

I'd like to rewatch the play because when I initially saw it, I thought it was a blatant flop. Guess I was correct.

I'd actually like to see stiffer penalties for flopping because if they suspended people, LBJ would be suspended at least once a series.

Suprised they didn't suspended him. Anything to help the Thunder seems to be the way of the NBA.

Flopping fines are okay with me....HOWEVER I would like to see some FINES on Refs that miss players stepping out of bounds with the ball, bullshit calls AFTER the 3 point basket is made and other appalling blatant unfairness!!! BOOM!

The official was standing right on that sideline when it happened. He was looking right at it.

Actually I reviewed Game 3 carefully after cooling down and we were simply outplayed. There is no other way to debate it when you are out rebounded by 20. Aside from a few of the typical Westbrook careening into the paint but has nothing fouls (with missing replay of course), I saw nothing amiss about game 3 whatsoever beyond the Mills theft and Adams piggy back ride on Duncan.

Now about that video of this flop anyone have it?

Tiago wipes his ass with $5,000 tbh

And, we all thought that Tiago wouldn't do anything to make a name for himself in this series.

Durant, Westbrook, Paul, Lebron, Wade, Harden, Manu, and many others flop all the time and not a word from league office. If they were objective with this "rule," the game would be a lot better to watch from a fan's perspective and the parade to the free throw line(especially for those free throw relying teams/players) would stop.

This is fucking bullshit with all the stuff those faggots get away with. The league has become so transparent

And with fines and penalties for Corporate-Americans, maybe it's tax deductible for Human-Americans.

And that Westbrook "steal" made the top 5 play.

So did Manu's illegal move in Toronto where he bounced the ball between the defender's legs, went out of bounds and back in and caught it on the other side, then went for a fast break layup with the and 1.

I think the reason Splitter got the fine is because of the way he sprang back up and tried to get back into the play defensively. I'm sure Ginobilli and Parker will give him a few tips between games about how to sell the foul better, by grimacing as if in pain (ala Parker, and later perfected by Paul Pierce), and lolling around on the ground after flopping (Ginobilli specialty), to better sell the flop.

Obviously, Tiago was guilty of flopping on the play - but what is so different from what he did there compared to what Durant (among others) has been doing the entire series? I'm still shocked that Carter didn't get fined (considering that his flop was MUCH more obvious) in the first round:
