Spurs bottom of bench outscored the tiring OK starters by 15 in half a quarter!
We found the chink in the armor! We just need to run tons of players at OKC, substitute liberally throughout the game and make sure our starters are fresh as daisies down the stretch-last 6 minutes of the game.
Can I get a tbh?

No
All this showed was how rail thin OKC is. Get Durant, Westbrook or Ibaka into foul trouble and it's a very different game. They literally couldn't take out their starters because the bench would have struggled mightily to score.

Won't happen, it was garbage time. You go down with your best players on the floor getting starter minutes not the end of the bench.

You miss the point. OKC was not distracted, they got TIRED. Cojo owning Westbrook. Bonner owning Durant. The key to this riddle is home court, identify better matchups early, lots of subbing, and tired OKC starters against our fresh big 3 in crunch time.
What could be more glorious!?!?!

I know Pop said they don't isolate, but they should. I'd start Diaw and have him post up anyone who guards him--it would either be Durant or Ibaka, and neither one of them stopped him in the post. Two things could happen: those two get in foul trouble, or someone comes to double which opens someone up. Splitter is playing as weak as I have seen him all season, and Leonard is a rookie again. Diaw is much more comfortable in the paint right now than he is shooting straight away threes.
Joseph deserves floor time over Mills right now. Mills looks for his shot first--and is forcing it--rather than distributing first.

What about using Leonard on a smaller players like Westbrook/Jackson/Butler?

The Spurs would be down so far by the time you hit middle of the 4th quater it won't matter if you go deep into your bench sitting the starters early in the game .

It was garbage time, OK City let up in their overall effort regardless if the starters were still playing.

Not if Pop devises an appropriate game plan and matchups and we execute.

That spurt in the latter part of game 4 won game 5 for us. I don't care how young OKC is, when the games are every other day and both of your principles have to play over 40 minutes because your bench SUCKS, they are going to feel it the next game.

So damn thrilled that the Spurs matched OKC's energy and broke them down
Very much a foot on the throat kind of win. It may linger in OKC's collective childlike mind.
1 more win, hope it is on Saturday!
