Duncan had a huge Finals last year too. Easily best PF ever and tbh he is top 5 all time if he grabs the title this year. Maybe top 3-4 behind only MJ, Kareem, and Russell.

Fuck you clown. Your were posting before game 5 how the spurs were done and the series was over! Wagon is full bitch!

Chinook

The head-scratching thing about this series was Brooks' decision to going away from attacking Duncan on the PnR. They fell in love with the 1/3 and 3/4 PnRs, but they allowed Tim to live in the lane as a result. Not only did that give Duncan more energy on offense, but it also allowed him to play to his strengths on defense. Really, really strange strategy there.

That said, hats off to Duncan. OMR really got it done tonight.

To borrow from the best thing to come out of Reggie Miller's mouth:

Kareem has to be in any top 5. Dude was a monster. I think Duncan has bumped Larry to 6. If he wins a ring he's definitely #5. Another FMVP and you'd have to put him no lower than 4, perhaps as high as 3. Amazing.

Timmy is already a top 4 player of all time tbh...

and its not only about stats and numbers....Timmy has only played with one top 50 player of all time and thats David Robinson.

Bird and Magic played with better ranked players.

It was just an amazing performance. I'm not sure if the magnitude of the moment was felt by general NBA fans or not; I can just say for Spurs fans, watching it play out the way it did, there is just almost a level of respect for Tim & the team that is unbelievable.

It was so impressive to see what Tim not only did tonight, but last game too. He was so focused and engaged and crisp in the biggest games of the year with no rest essentially (not minutes wise, days off). For Tim to be able to do that, on the road, facing a half time deficit and no TP is just incredible. It really shows you how amazing all of the big 3 are and how they can win with so many different players around them.

So happy for Manu to. This man has simply been amazing these playoffs with no qualifiers needed.

It's amazing how things play out in a game / series/career.

If Manu hits the game winner at the buzzer, Tim never gets to add another chapter to his legacy. I wouldve taken he Manu game winner, but damn Duncan is a legend.
