He struggled immensely in the 4th/OT after dominating the 1st 3 quarters, so he needed to step up, and he did with this play, one of the best plays in franchise history IMO..

Absolutely key.
Concerned about his offense in the fourth, though.

Play of the game, that killed OKC's momentum and took the air out of the arena. Helluva play.
If only those huge hands could've inflicted an eye injury to Fisher. But, I'll take it.

Yup, he was absolutely abysmal after the 3rd. Props to him for nutting up and coming up with a huge play.

I love the kind of block where a player basically takes the ball away.
One demerit for Boris for attempting the putback dunk in the wrong basket though.

This play is remarkable, think about, he had to do a full 180 with Westbrook in his highest gear, locate the ball, and hit the target so that he wouldnt foul em.
My god, the level of difficulty, few on this planet could do it.
This was the play of the game.

He struggled offensively in the 4th/OT but he was aggressive and engaged defensively. He didn't let his play on one end affect the other end. Got on the boards too.
He won't miss that many easy ones often. I'll take some mistakes if he continues to stay aggressive like he was last game and tonight.

Can you imagine 26 year old Kawhi??
Great play no doubt. Would have loved to see Kawhi hang onto that ball though with that left hand instead of dropping it though. But I'm not going to complain.

Bowen also blocked Chauncey Billups's 3pt attempt to help put away the Pistons in Game 7.

An absolutely pure steal from the biggest POS in the NBA by one of the most lovable players in the NBA. Could not have scripted it better.

Green's block against James in overtime of Game Six is up there, too. It's not his fault Parker negated it by taking a bad shot the next play. Had the Spurs pulled off that game, that block would have seen as the best defensive play in team history.

Was that one in transition? Green has had several of those and always plays James well on the break.

Yes. This play in particular:

I think that would have become an iconic image had the Spurs gone on to take that game. It was such a potentially huge moment.

There really isn't anyone I want back on defense during a break more than Danny Green. He consistently plays the ball and players well. Hopefully I didn't just unknowingly foreshadow something awful...
