So I organize a GTG and like 15-20 of us go to Retama Park tonight.

And who comes out the biggest frickin' loser?

ME!!

LJ and I went there at around 3pm - and I lost approximately 50-60 bets without winning one! It seems impossible, but it's not. I lost something like $350. :(

LJ won approximately $150 to keep it respectable.

But the two women who had never been there before - Ginofan and SpursWoman - came out the big winners.

Congratulations... you guys suck :cry

I've never seen someone lose as much as Kori lost. It was amazing actually. I thought after a while she should have just gotten a prize for picking everything wrong.

And it wasn't like she kept going for impossible odds. Even straight up wins had no chance. Oh well, she gave it a good try :makeout

Together we might be the worst gambling couple ever. Seperate we are pretty decent, but when we do it as a couple we are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in the red.

:shootme :lol

Horry For 3!

Kori, it seems that, alot of GTGs that is true.

You dont get anything in return, nor do you ask.

Just my HO.

We did OK, but I did better with the Claw Machine at Jims. 4 bucks later I walked away with 3 stuffed animals. :lol

Sequ actually wasn't even at the track.

TPark, I honestly don't mind doing whatever I do for people at the GTG's - it isn't much. Tonight, I didn't even really mind losing money -- I only bring the amount of money that I'm willing to lose, but it was just crazy. We don't go to the track that much, but when we do - it's just normally up and down. Win $20 here and there, lose some money .. but basically a wash.

Today was something unbelievable. How could I bet 50 times in a row and lose? It was to the point if anyone else in our group happened to bet the same horse as I did, they'd change their bet before the race started :lmao

Oh well. Maybe it means I'm winning big bucks next time :lol

It's Christy :)

On the very last race, I bet a $1 trifecta box on 9-5-12. When I made the bet #12 had like 5-1 odds or something, by race time it fell to 17-1. Preliminary results of that race were 12-9-5, and I'd have won $415 on that $6 dollar bet.

But the official results moved #5 to the 4th spot, so I didn't win squat. :flipoff :lol

I had fun, though... :)

You do know that on a $1 box you would only get half of what the trifecta paid out, right? Of course if $415 was half...DAMN!

Since I ate 4 hot dogs, a few beers, a soda and was only down $40 bucks I felt like I just went to a Spurs game.

It became known as the "Kori Ellis Pick of Death". I missed the Mexican Train myself, so it happened to everyone. :lol

I enjoyed meeting Kori, LJ & everyone and had a great time. :tu
