And force him to watch every single possession of last year's Finals, tbh..

Manu has been the Spurs best player in the playoffs, but this series will be his true chance at redemption..

I love watching him play, he's one of my favorite players of all-time, and he needs to go out on top..

This year we have CoJo and Mills, who can handle the ball.

Imagine if as half this board had wished, Manu had retired and we ended up with AK47's corpse (he wasn't THAT bad but still). No way this game even gets to overtime tonight.

i'll admit that Baldie drives me and probably every Spursfan crazy. ElAgente ElNono worked over time to get him that deal and I was still bitter about it. But he's been incredible these playoffs. Especially when Parker disappeared as usual.

Manu is a ride or die nigga, and I hope he goes out on top.

Spurs winning 5 & Manu getting FMVP would be ideal as I said last year..

The key is TP. Huge blow if he's not healthy.

I think this Spurs team with a Parker at 70-80% healthy, can be good enough to beat the Heat. The Spurs have proven even more than last year how valuable their bench has been to beat this years teams in the playoffs thus far. Parker is not going to be asked to carry that much of a load as he was last year. If he plays at an allstar level he takes most of the shots and takes away other players shots. Spurs have proven to have so many elements to their game they are no longer as reliant on one player to be dominate to win games.

He's making me forget last year's finals with his play so far this playoffs. I'd like nothing more than for this good play to translate to the finals. Watching him last year was sad knowing that he wasn't playing up to the high standards he had set over the years. I'm hoping last year's struggles were just fatigue from all the offseason play/injuries/etc. and not something fundamental to his mindset when playing against the heat. I want to believe. Make me believe, Manu.

Btw, the media and NBA fans spent the entire Summer mocking Manu and making memes of Manu as a member of the Heat..are they going to do the same with Wade as a Spurs player, considering the embarrassing series he just had?:lol..

It wouldn't have been a robbery if he got Finals MVP.

Crazy how he's doing these things at 37. He's still got so much athleticism for an older guy, ridiculous.

I was hoping Manu would somehow get the MVP as a recognition for everything in this playoffs run.

He's been their most consistent performer, always willing them to win excluding a stumble in OKC.

Manu has a huge hand in this last game- when the game turned it was pretty much all him right after the Battier foul. I dont know the Heat were able to recover after those 3 plays
