Who else was yelling at the screen when, on the pass from Manu with 24 seconds left, Westbrook came across Tim's blind side on the double team? How many other times have we seen the Spurs lose the ball on that kind of play?

Little things make all the difference.

Thank god Timmy isn't a loser like Karl Malone tbh.

That one wouldn't have been on Manu, though.

Yeah, I yelled "Oh shit, that was close!"

Not just on the initial steal attempt, after he started to recover I was sure he was going to grab the ball out of Tims hands from behind, but he went up with the ball too fast for that to happen. Maybe he heard all of us yelling at our TVs

When i saw that i was terrified that westbrook was gonna swipe it and go the other way, it seems like Tim didnt notice him and the ball was just barely out of his reach. Fortunately he didnt get the steal, and the rest is written into San Antonio lore

I thought it would be stolen. Tim himself told the media he didn't know RW was even there until mid-shot.

Oh boy. I cursed a second at the screen after watching that play and didn't believe that Duncan will manage to beat the little men (Jackson & Westbrook) double team after nearly getting stolen. And the great man made the bucket to my relief. Only for annoyance to take over after Miller made that stale, "Old Man Riverwalk" drawl.

I was worried about Westbrook steals the last few minutes. I was thinking to myself "no careless cross court passes" and then Green does exactly that. And then this play...so close to a turnover. BUT I knew we were DESTINED to win this game, once I saw both Diaw and Ginobili have rebounds basically fall in their laps while they were on the floor.

I saw that. WB tried to steal the ball twice and missed both times. The rest is history.

I still have no idea how we won last night

One of those nights where I can't even remember anything except the final plays

I love being happy :) :) :)

Me and my friends were yelling at them to get the ball to Tim down there....couldn't believe they had such a mismatch. Tim is just always gonna score on that matchup. Period.

WB almost got it from behind, then on the recover, THEN almost blocked it.

Shit like that doesn't NOT happen for a reason :lobt2:

Only on the third time I watched it did I realize how far Westbrook strayed off of Green.

The "oh shit" look on Jackson's face as Duncan went into his shot was great. Or is that just his normal face?

yeah, dodged the bullet twice, a deflection if in bounds surely leads to a fast break.

The amount of things that went right on that play is insane, I was just thinking about this play right now, it could've ended the game!

I think TD was oblivious to the almost the whole thing, that's how lucky SA was, I'm not even sure Manu told TD WB was in his vicinity.

WB missed stealing the pass by an inch, nearly recovered to block the shot as well, only reason he didn't get to it was because TD slightly faded to the left and went up so fast with it.

That was the key..going up so fast with it. When Tim catches and shoots he is so much more effective than when he catches and pauses before deciding what to do.

like a few other posters mentioned, when the game is that exciting, it's all a blur the next day.

i just recall WB swooping in and almost snagging the steal from behind, TD rises up and the shot circuses around the rim but you knew it was gonna get in there.

legendary.
