Matriarch lioness

A well-seasoned killer, you shall know her by the trail of dead she leaves in her wake. She's an old hand at the task of killing, feeding her pride, and she knows that one wrong move could have her expending all her energy on a failed hunt, leaving nothing left for the next, guaranteeing that she, and her pride along with her, starve to death. So she picks her spots carefully, doesn't go after every prey unlucky enough to catch her eye. She let's some potential food stay potential, and only strikes when she sees an easy kill, or when she must. But kill, and feast, she will; it's in her DNA.
Anybody else have a metaphor or simile that comes to mind when you think of this Spurs team?
