Game 1 of the finals will be on Thursday so lets have some fresh threads to talk about player performance..Always good to see back and forth arguments :lol
1. Tim Duncan - Timmy struggled against Dallas for the most part and his lack of mobility showed in that series, but offensively he was contributing enough to keep the team afloat. Against Portland, I thought timmy had a decent series, it wasn't the best, but he played at a level the spurs needed him to play at IMO. Against OKC, Timmy was phenomenal. He carried us in game 6 and showed why he is considered the best PF of all time..Reminding us again why he is one of the best players of all time

2. Tony Parker - Save for the last series against OKC, I thought tony played decent enough ball. I'm still under the opinion that he could have been more aggressive against Dallas but his injury might have kept him on bay for a bit. Against Portland, he was amazing..Along with Tiago and kawhi, they carried the spurs to a comfortable series against Portland. Against OKC, he's been on and off but his injury in the last game might be the reason why he's been playing so poorly against OKC

3. Manu Ginobili
Manu, IMO, has been our most valuable playmaker and shot maker in the whole playoffs. I'd even go as far as to say that he might be the best playoff performer as of right now. Sure he had shitty games against Portland, but he was never needed there and it was never his series but when the spurs needed him the most he performed. I can't wait for him to redeem himself in the finals..He was the spurs best player against Dallas and was the difference maker against OKC.

Fearless nigga..The spurs are so lucky to have kawhi..Steve kerr is right, this team would not be competing in the finals right now without him. That said, He was poor in two of the 6 games against OKC and one game against Dallas, but he's the most consistent performer.

5. Danny Green
Really one of the most underrated players in the league. His defense against Ellis, Lillard, Durant and Westbrook has been Bowensque..I know spurs fan is going to hate me for putting his defense up there, but he has been phenomenal and it's time we give this nigga the credit he deserves. His threes are falling, his defense is A+, I can't fucking wait for him to defend wade, lebron or Allen
B+
6. Tiago Splitter
Tiago carried our defense against Dallas and Portland. Without Tiago, we'd all probably be talking about rebuilding by now mainly because I really think Dallas was a tough as it gets and without Tiago who knows what Dirk could have done. His Job on aldrdige, was A+..It's not delusional to say that he might be the best Post defender in the league. He was benched against OKC, but IMO it was really just a matchup issue and not a lack of effort from Tiago

7. Boris Diaw
Against Dallas, he defended dirk enough to give Tiago and timmy the rest they needed. He hit a few shots here and there but wasn't at a level they needed him to be offensively. He just wasn't aggressive enough. Against Portland, he was okyish on both ends of the floor. Against OKC, he was super shitty the first 3 games, but the minutes he played with the scrubs was the turning point of the series. When Boris started shooting, it created all sorts of problems for OKC...He was great on the post.

8. Patty Mills
I'm going to start talking about game 6 first because no one has mentioned all the hustle plays patty did in game 6..He was fucking A+ in game 6 man. He made so many hustle plays that didn't show up in the boxscore and the play that stood up the most was Ginobili's three..Him clapping made fisher and ibaka look in back and that gave manu all the space to hit the three ball..What Performance. Against Portland and Dallas, I thought he did a decent job backing up Tony.

9. Cory Joseph
- Wow...Cojo steped up big and showed them starters how to play competitive ball. One thing that always killed cory's game was hesitation, but I did not sense any of that against OKC..Man, I see a bright a future. This GIF describes Cory's performance

10 Matt Bonner
Really opened up a lot of things for SA against OKC..

11. Aaron Baynes
Nigga killed adams..He made the most of the limited minutes he was given. I don't have a whole lot to say about this nigga, but all i know he plays his heart out every minute.
A
12 Marco Bellineli
Last on the list cause he's also the worst playoff performer..Good series against portland, but shitty against Dallas and OKC
