Each SEC Team set to make around 21 million.

Each Big 12 team that is a charter member will make around 23 million

TCU and WV will make around 14 million.

Lots of damn money.

of course that number will be significantly higher next year at this time because it will also include the additional revenue from the SEC network which starts this fall (or in august). so taking into account the revenue generated from the success of the first 2 seasons (especially the first), the huge donations generated from that success ,the increasing revenue from last year and the additional revenue they will generate from the television network, it is pretty safe to say that the move was very successful financially.

:lmao Blake.

Multiply this $1.30 per month carriage fee request times the number of cable and satellite subscribers in the SEC's footprint -- 30 million -- and you've got nearly $400 million from the SEC alone.
That would be $28.5 million per team just from the SEC Network's money in the SEC.
That number doesn't include advertising money or the additional .25 cents per subscriber that the network is seeking from the other 39 states. (We also don't know what the revenue share will be between the SEC and ESPN either, but now you can start to see why the SEC Network is such a gamechanger.)
Right now the SEC teams make around $20 million each from television.
So at an absolute bare minimum the SEC Network is going to double television revenue for each school.
It's also important to keep in mind that this is just the start, those numbers are going to rise.

So basically you got pissed at coattailing the longhorns and are ok with sucking Bama dick.

Do you honestly believe an Aggie Network wouldn't have generated cash?

I'm glad Aggy is not part of LHN except these last few days when we humiliated them on our own network.

And aggsy fans had to watch their team on the LHN, pure gold.

No wonder Aggy broke off the rivalry (while using LHN as a lame excuse).... they were tired of getting pimp-slapped by Daddy all the time :lol

Few things I pulled from this.

1. Purdue, Colorado, Washington State and a few other schools are spending more than they are taking in. Those schools need to fire their AD.

2. How does Texas spend 150 million? I understand taking in 165 million but spending 150 is crazy.

3. Aggsy took in 93 million. I don't care what the SEC network does for them, there is no way they are catching Texas.

4. Texas is getting a new basketball arena and closing in DKR, when those two things happen you are going to see Texas likely go up to around 180 million in revenue. And hopefully if those were what is causing Texas to spend 150 million then that number will go down.

5. Selling Beer might kick it over 200 million :D

That was my first thought before I even read your comment below. I'm kind of skeptical though that Texas is worth almost 3x what Aggy is. I'm curious what kind of financial modeling or inputs they used to create these valuations.

Who knows.

But if the Wall Street Journal is willing to run with it, I'm willing to lol at it.
