This was really the only coach I was interested in for the near future. Looks more and more like Fredo is gonna sign a black coach and allow this team to fall apart into the depths of Scorpions Layer

:cry Larry pls

"I've always kept in touch with Mitch; I admire the hell out of him," the 73-year-old Brown told USA TODAY Sports by phone on Tuesday. "I talk to Mitch all the time. ... (But) we're not talking about coaching the Lakers. I've read some of the names. They've got a long list of good people to choose from, and I'm here at SMU. I want to win a national championship."

When Larry says he's not interested what he's really saying is "show me the money"...

Buss: "come be the next laughing stock of LA before we fire you in a show of intent to get better"

I'm sure the Lakers were just "kicking the tires" and we're not serious about LB. They likely are going after a somewhat young coach who isn't 10 minutes away from Social Security and AARP benefits.

:rollin

Larry needs to adopt the Eric Dickerson model of giving recruits Corvettes and shit to get SMU back on top

Larry Brown is 73. Pretty sure he could get SS now and AARP benefits if he needed them. Not sure what the retirement age is in Mexico but pretty sure you don't have SS.

He's smart enough to know not to be part of The Curse
