Based on this year's playoff performance, this is a generally home-favoring crew. All have worked as crew chiefs, although Davis only did so once.

Having said all this, and I have no stats to back this up, but Scott Foster has always made me nervous...

Yes Foster is 2nd only to Bill Kennedy, in screwing the Spurs over

I don't care about who is reffing, but I love those stats. Especially Home/Road Foul % (need that for Joey Crawford!)

BTW.: I'm promising, not to argue about reffing beforehand or afterward. The league has no reason to make one of the teams champion as the "revenge"/"timmys legacy" and "threepeat"/"lebrons place in history" storylines are all nice.

If there is no 3-peat, then there is no reason for the Heatles to stay together for a 4-peat. There is a reason.

Fuck it. We beat OKC with Brothers officiating. Even the refs can't stop this team.

but Scott Foster has always made me nervous...
The records show Donaghy placed 134 calls to referee Scott Foster — more than the 126 calls Donaghy made to his bookie — between October 2006 and April 2007, the period during which he has confessed to either betting on games or passing on game information to gamblers. The majority of the phone calls lasted no more than two minutes and occurred prior to and after games Donaghy officiated and on which he admits wagering.
With the exception of 150 calls Donaghy placed to Thomas Martino, to whom he says he provided “picks” to win games and who was the middleman between the disgraced referee and a bookie named James Battista, the ex-ref phoned no one more than he called Foster. During this period, the most calls Donaghy made to any other referee were 13.

Is Joey available for this series? I hope not...

I am not sure if that`s a good thing or not, but apparently Spurs are the good guys in finals. Spurs dont need refs favour, they need equal treatment. I think "the good guys" should get at least equal treatment.

I'd love to see Joey Crawford ref one of the Miami games. He definitely doesn't get influenced by the crowd as much as some.

Does anybody know what that fan was yelling at Brothers in that game? I mean, he (the fan) was way out on the floor looking like he was about to take a swing at Brothers. Does anybody know what that was all about (other than Spurs fans getting understandably upset about his consistently wretched refereeing)?
