2006 article by Tim Grover on cramping: http://articles.chicagotribune.com/...228_1_leg-cramps-dwyane-wade-personal-trainer (http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2006-04-25/sports/0604250228_1_leg-cramps-dwyane-wade-personal-trainer)

Dwyane Wade's passion to be like Mike extends to his choice of a personal trainer.

Chicagoan Tim Grover, who made his reputation monitoring the workouts and daily nutritional habits of Michael Jordan, had sound advice (http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2006-04-25/sports/0604250228_1_leg-cramps-dwyane-wade-personal-trainer#) for Wade, whose leg cramps at the end of Game 1 of the playoffs Saturday night left the Heat star questionable for Monday night.

"A lot of the cramping usually happens during the playoffs, or even if you watch the NCAA tournament," Grover said via telephone from Chicago (http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2006-04-25/sports/0604250228_1_leg-cramps-dwyane-wade-personal-trainer#). "And a lot of it happens not because of conditioning--because at this time of the year, the players are pretty much in condition."

Grover said he had spoken Friday with Wade, a Chicago native.

"Sometimes anxiety has a lot to do with [cramping]," he said. "Players get hyperventilated, or they don't sleep well the night before. Maybe they don't eat properly or they have butterflies in their stomach. That can lead to extensive cramping. But cramping of athletes at this time of year is more of a mental kind of thing."

Heat trainers made sure Wade ingested several ounces of Gatorade before and during Monday night's game. Wade came out strong and scored 13 first-half points to give the Heat a 68-57 advantage at intermission. He finished with 21 in Miami's 115-108 victory in Game 2.

Grover said he does not recall Jordan suffering from leg cramps as a player.

"It would take a lot to get Michael anxious or excited," he said. "He played at that level whether it was a preseason game or the seventh game of the Finals."

Are you implying that Lebron is a mental midget?

Im not even a Lebron fan, but that's just plain bullshit. I'm sure everyone here has suffered a cramp/spasm at one time or another. Electrolyte imbalances/dehydration/fatigue all play a part. The way this is blowing up is absolutely stupid.

Thank you for finding this nice article that basically supports why I cramp during sex. I love fucking so much that I get too excited and begin to cramp midway through the thrashing. This makes perfect sense. But, after a quick rub down I'm back to fucking. I never quit... what the fuck is wrong with Lebron. Imagine a nigga with my reputation telling a bitch I had to leave because my legs cramped up while fucking her. I'd be doomed!!! Lebron better win this series... it will become his Hallmark if he doesn't.

And don't forget this winner: "Dwyane taught Lebron how to win."

Grover is very loyal.

It was a different scenario as it affected the whole team. Also, Jordan came back to finish the game, Lebron sat and watched his team collapsed.

As it happens, Jordan did struggle with cramping at least once during his six Finals appearances. In Game 4 of the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz—just three nights before MJ's famed "Flu Game"—Jordan and his teammates succumbed to debilitating stomach cramps due to an error by the Bulls staff. Here's Roland Lazenby's account of the incident from his new book, Michael Jordan: The Life (http://books.google.com/books?id=leziAAAAQBAJ&pg=PT375&lpg=PT375&dq=%22michael+jordan%22+cramp+-lebron&source=bl&ots=Tqr1DC6mod&sig=hCo4ikXyLIKwrjpo5Gi_kgLEiqM&hl=en&sa=X&ei=1cORU8PgBeqisQTj1oGAAw&ved=0CEUQ6AEwBA#v=onepage&q=%22michael%20jordan%22%20cramp%20-lebron&f=false) (h/t Pro Basketball Talk's Dan Feldman (http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/06/michael-jordan-left-an-nba-finals-game-due-to-cramps-too/)):

It would later be learned that a Bulls team assistant had mistakenly replaced the players’ Gatorade with GatorLode, a heavy drink used for building carbs. “It was like eating baked potatoes,” explained trainer Chip Schaeffer. Down the stretch, Chicago’s players complained of stomach cramps and Jordan even asked to sit for a time, something he never did at a key moment.

True. Not to mention cramping is a genetic factor as well, some people are more prone to them than others.

Your asshole cramps because it's bitten off more than it could chew. Let's be honest, you throw your ass back at that big gay buck and the cramps you feel are spinchter cramps because you're not supposed to be stretching it out. Soon as the protein is poured into your gaping ass maw, your cramps cease and you probably collapse in a heap of onion smelling sweat onto a piss stained bed sheet.
