View Full Version : So did the heat create the best officiated game of the post-season?

It seemed like the officials just wanted to keep the game going to prevent the eventual meltdown. Both by the fans and the media were probably key in said future meltdown. I don't know, but it got hot and the whistles only blew for clear obvious fouls. The touch and light grabbing stuff dried up and we had a pretty good ballgame. Just keep the game going. Side effect was a certain player getting hotter than the rest, but I sure don't remember the refs at all. The stoppage was pretty minimal.

I agree, though not sure if it was heat-related or if the refs just decided early to let them play.

It was heat related. Refs wanted to get everyone out of there as soon as possible, and both coaches probably agreed. I was half expecting to see the Heat pull their players mid game.

I dunno what game you were watching, but...

Leonard was made a non-factor because of officiating. People have been suspended for throwing a forearm at an opposing player, like Lebron did. Speaking of which, you weren't allowed to defend Lebron. Ray Allen had a great dunk, but an obvious foul on the way to it. Timmy was hacked and called for non-existent fouls. No, the officiating was not good at all. But...everyone has their own opinion. That is mine.

Refs were letting tons of stuff go and letting them play from the first quarter before the heat was on.

I agree...the officiating favored the heat...that's my opinion

both teams don't get to the line that much to begin with, plus good officiating.

crazy that the announce team did not mention ray allen's offensive foul on his dunk....everybody the saw replay and it was surely a push off....

Oh I still think the Heat got favored a bit, but it was not anything like any of the OKC games. Surprisingly lacking in controversy except for the LeBron Cramps.
