The Spurs had righted the ship by that point. They had stopped turning the ball over. I believe they would have won, but by a closer margin.

Not really. There was only a small point differential, despite 20+ TO and our bench was out scoring theirs.

I was actually furious. I knew all of the broadcasts, articles, EVERYTHING would be about LeBron's cramps. When LeBron went out, the Spurs had the win in the bag. The shots going in didn't surprise me one bit. Even LeBron were still in and healthy, I still would have believed the Spurs would find a way. If there was an instance where I felt like that scene was playing out in my head would be when I looked at the turnovers when the 4th quarter started. It had nothing to do with James.

We would still have won...probably by only 6-8 points, but we would've won nonetheless.

I honesty thought the series was looking bleak if miami steals game 1.

Miami had a run but then momentum was already shifting.

Sundays game will tell the true story whether or not the Spurs figured out the Heat with James.

It's possible but not a guarantee. Not like the Heat were balling during the game, they blew many opportunities to get a big lead on us and it was never an out of control game.

Oh well, too bad for Miami.

Zach Lowe pointed this out (although foolishly, he did so as praise instead of blame), but the Heat switched Allen onto Green in the middle of the fourth quarter. Danny burned Ray for eight points in five possessions. I don't think that would have changed had James been in the game.

i thought we would have won by a point or so, but i was thinking the stuff op said when beli was giving allen open three after open three and he was missing them..

No, I wasn't worried. If we were behind by 20 then yes, but down by two with or without James and on a roll--no.

If you can't get a lead when the Spurs turn it over 22 times, you ain't gonna fucking win.

So much has been said about the Spurs turnovers but the Heat also turned it over quite a bit.

Who cares about what if? Lebron cramped, Spurs won end of story . correlation does not mean causation.
