View Full Version : Jason Terry suspicious of Gm. 1 AC outage
“You know what, Pop [Spurs coach Gregg Popovich] has done that so many times. I don't know if it's a conspiracy, but I'm telling you, going into San Antonio is a tough place to play,” Terry said.
“And I can remember very well one time where it was cold showers, there were about a thousand flies in the locker room. This year, there was a snake in the locker room. So, they're going to pull out all the stops to get into your head.
“When you go to San Antonio, expect something like that. And Miami fell victim to it."

This is from the Facebook link:
Reasons why the Spurs would do this (not saying it's a conspiracy but still)
- They play a deeper rotation
- They are younger than Miami OVERALL (Look it up)
- Lebron has a history with cramps
- They are basically entirely foreign and have Europeans used to playing in the warm conditions
I don't think it was a conspiracy but there are clear reasons why the Spurs could have done this. Again, not saying it was a conspiracy.
Likely a troll, tho an interesting perspective nonetheless.

There is a conspiracy surrounding that, as well. The Ravens were just straight up steamrolling the 49ers up until that point. Jacoby Jones just ran the opening kickoff back for a touchdown, then the Ravens defense forced an interception, I believe. Either that, or they were about to punt on 4th down. Regardless, Flacco and the rest of the Ravens offense hadn't seen the field in something like 70 minutes. After that, the 49ers were much more competitive and made it an actual game.
So, there are a couple obvious conspiracies. First, the NFL needed more time to run the Super Bowl ads. If it's an extreme blowout, there aren't any timeouts called and far less stoppage. Second conspiracy, the NFL wanted the Ravens to lose. The 49ers were ready to go into full blown meltdown mode, until they were given a second half time to calm down and get their heads on straight.
They're laughable but, there they are.

06-07-2014, 05:59 PM
:lmao Yeah, a master plan.
These claims are ridiculous. Why would the Spurs "rig" a game, the first in a series, by making everybody suffer from the same conditions? Why would that ever be a good idea to make two older teams get blasted with hot air, and the fans?
There's no credence to this, they might (a huge might) have something if we were down 0-3 to them and needed to damage control some insane solution for momentum, but a 0-0 series makes no sense to have a conspiracy in our favor.
Had the Heat won, I wonder what these people would be saying about it? You can tell Miami fans from the smart fans because only Heat fans would impose that this is actually some sort of cheating effort and not have a reasonable solution of the fact that it was an accident.
All conspiracy theorists suffer from the same fatal flaws tbh, always assuming that they know more than others and latching onto something as a part of a grand scheme when usually, things are not planned that far ahead nor are they really under the levels of control that are actually likely in the first place. Nobody should ever assume that making 20,000 people suffer in an arena along with athletes with a broken A/C would actually benefit anybody.
Pop should put saran wrap on the heats basket or maybe Pop can point at Lebron's jersey to trick LeBron into thinking he might have a stain on it.
Or he could do the itching powder thing to Lebron's locker or have Lebron pull his finger midcourt before tipoff.

To say it doesn't play a factor is down right idiotic.. That's like saying that the Nuggets don't have an advatage at every home game wth them playing at a higher altitude.. If you've never played their before it affects your breathing and fatigue level..

Apparently, the Spurs had cooling fans in their locker room at halftime, according to Danny Green, and the Heat didn't..
Homecourt advantage at it's finest, anything to win, tbh:lol..fuck those niggas..

And just when I forgot about my most hated player of all times and ease up on him he goes and reminds me of why I can't stand him again. Jason EUGENE FERRY.

The basketball gods had a hand in this one, without a doubt. Their cleverness is beyond human comprehension, as has been shown time and time again.

Saw a graphic just before the finals that the Heat had the slowest pace either in the league or of all playoff teams. Don't remember for sure.

yea, the Spurs would risk the health of their senile stars for a chance of something happening exclusively to the younger Miami stars... wow.. it's easier to believe Pop is actually Mickey Mouse..

This is exactly what the wwnba needs
home court teams allowed to be creative
no benches/chairs for visitors
big red instead of gatorade for visitors
coyote allowed to nut punch visitors at will for laughs
visitors locker room locked at halftime and visitors shown on the jumbotron standing outside
think of the possibilities!!!!

Spurs should turn up the heat in game 2 as well. Maybe not as extreme as game 1. But getting Lebron tired is key.

Conspiracy theorists are d-bags, so it makes sense.
Who gives a shit what players not in the playoffs think.
Exactly. Next they'll be asking Sarah Palin's opinion.

Jason Terry just being a bitch per the par.
there's two theories on the AC outage. first, Pop going fullblown CIA genius mode, doing it to expose the Heat's dependence on Lebron, and more importantly, Lebron's dependence on PEDs, roids etc...
Or it was simply something random. You could even interpret it as a Divine Hand or basketball gods blowing out the AC to expose what Lebron is like when the conditions aren't right for his PEDs.
so the real story should be why Lebron keeps cramping while displaying all the signs of PED abuse, and not on a stupid AC, imo.
