Only once in the history of the NBA has the home team won all seven finals games. It happened in 1954-55 when Syracuse defeated Fort Wayne, 4-3.

The plan is to win as many games as possible, preferably every single one the Spurs play.
Im presuming you mean won all 4 home games... link?
Personally I would say the most important game HC wise in the Finals is Game 7. The home team wins Game 7 a vast majority of the time.
In any case every game, home or away is of massive importance right now. HC is nice but the Spurs need to be prepared to go into Miami and take not one but two games so it doesnt go 7 in the first place. Preferably it doesnt even go 5...

Pretty much how I feel. I've felt since the start of the series that both teams will probably win at least one game on the road. That means that the Spurs will have to either win a second in Miami to close it out, or will be facing another Game 7, but this time at home.

No, what he said makes sense. There's a home team for every game in the series. He's saying there has only been one series in history where the home team won every time.

How many Finals have ever gone seven games? Very few. That's an extremely small sample size and statistically useless.

That's why I've always felt the format doesn't matter too much. At this level both teams are usually capable of winning on each other's court.

Wow, I never thought of it like that. Let's hope the Spurs know that too.

Spurs will be looking at the bottom of the barrel in game 6. They will have to win game 6 in Miami to survive.

Hopefully not, because that would be the Spurs lose 3 of the next 4. :wow
Now do you really think that, or are you just trying to live up to your "hater" moniker?

Not at all. Reaching a game 6 is the most likely scenario. And as you know Spurs should be down 0-1 if not for a fault with the AC system.
Using that logic and correctly assuming the AC wont be a factor the rest of the series and its pretty logical to conclude the Heat will be leading the series at the startbof game 6.
Sucks but logic is logic :pctoss

I pray we win today, then win game three there, after that, we either sweep em with a Calis (Jalen Rose) or we go the gentleman sweep route. The funny thing is even before game 4 of the WCF last year, where we swept the Grizz, Bill Simmons and the talking heads at ESPN were still talking about how the Grizzlies can come back, lol. I say take them out as soon as possible. First break this, they never lose two in a row streak tonight, then go down to South Beach and make their fair weather fans leave another game early on Tuesday night, while making them stick "7 Nation Army" where the sun don't shine.

Cosign that, making Bayless and that Spurs in 6 talk moot. That being said if we get the first 3, Walis!!!
