No camera discussions that I've seen on SpursTalk. I'm currently eyeing the Sony A6000 as a replacement for my aging DSLR. Any opinions or thoughts? Checking out Fuji's 4/3rds camera as well, I've heard it's brilliant.

It's in the $6-800 range, but the reviews for it are scintillating.

Ended up getting a Nikon D7000. Super hyped for this camera. Here's a shot from my aging D50:

I wouldn't go anywhere near a Sony DSLR tbh. Much rather buy a Canon or a Nikon.

Sony has good hardware in their cameras but their lenses are leaving something to be desired. If you want a 4/3rds camera, Fuji makes some outstanding stuff across the board, lenses included.

Anyway, here's a shot I took on my D7k:

I have an entry-level Canon Rebel XS I got cheap years ago. Barely used it - but just starting to get into photography now. I have a standard 18-55mm lens kit. What should be my next purchase, a 50mm? I could get one new for $100.

Doubt it. I purged every single item I had from her out of my computers and my mind. :lol
