Parker had just hit a trey to put us up 93-92.
Miami comes down, James throws it to Bosh who clanks a trey. Bitch Wade fouls Kwa on the rebound attempt, no call and Kwa out muscles him for the board anyways.

93-92 with ball and 2:00 left as we cross half court.
Parker passes it to Kwa (somewhat of a stunner to me!) who immediately passes it to Tim at the top of the arc. Tim then immediately passes it back to Parker who is outside the far arc. Seems like it was a set play.
Here we go. Or rather here Parker goes being 1 on 1'd with James.
He holds the ball over his head announcing his intentions to pass. Spurs fan out and Parker fakes a pass to the cutting Ginobili (not really open) and nobody else seems to be open.
So Parker dribbles it four times, goes forward twoards Lebron, then decides to pull it back it out again. Dribbles 5 6 as he is backing it out.
He is one on one with James so on dribble 7 he moves forward and decides to try to take it to the rack. GNob is wide open at the arc but Tony continues to drive the lane. Kwa is also open for the Bowen 3 pter at the corner arc. Tony dribbles on, James stays right with him on dribble 9 and 10.
Parker now stops, pulls up the ball and at 6'1" is going to try a plant jumper over 6'8" Lebron. :rolleyes As he is doing so LeBron easily swats the ball away. Clean strip, it's not a foul. Seems to go off Parker but after a long camera review its Spurs ball with farking 0.8 on the clock.
He inbounds it to GNob who has to try a desperation heave that clanks.

That was possession #1.

Miami comes down, James seems to get caught in a D switchup and travelled, but anywho no call as he passes it to a WIDE open Bosh for a trey. Obviously some kind of blown D assignment by the Spurs.
95-93 Heat.

Possession #2.
Cross midcourt at 1:14 and Parker again immediately gives it up to Boris who insta passes it to Kwa. Kwa it at the same top/corner arc that the last play started at. Kwa looks for an open man. Nobody open so GNob zooms to the top of the key and Kwa passes it to him. Ray Allen certainly looks like he whacked GNob on the face and eye but of course no call, and don't expect ABC with its 3 Heat announcer bitches to show a replay or comment. GNob seems very shaken up, rifles a pass wayy to hard to an open Duncan in the lane. Turnover.

Heat come down, Prince LeBron gets two fts. He makes one.
96-93 Heat.

Possession #3:
Cross midcourt with about :40.
Parker to GNob to Boris, once again at the top corner arc. Obviously we are starting out plays from this point. Boris looks to pass, GNob drives and gets tripped up by Bitch Allen, falls to the floor. No call. It looked intentional but who knows, maybe it was inadvertant. Whatever. GNobilii gets up, circles back out to the arc and Boris passes it to him. I think GNob is steamed at Ray Allen.
He does a behind the back dribble, gathers the ball for a fallaway Jordan style jumper attempt from 20 feet.:rolleyes Yeah. That's the shot we get off down by 3 with 9 on the shot clock. Green and Boris looked open for threes. It should be noted we were going for a 2 for 1 with 30 left on the game clock when Manu Jordan tried that shot.
No hero ball there.

Boris made one hell of an attempt to steal the rebound away and almost did. He knocked the ball away from Twunt Wade (who had the rebound) but as the ball karoomed around it fluked off Boris and went out of bounds.

Bosh makes a very good pass to Wade for a layup and thus

Possession #4, GNobs trey looked pretty but it was meaningless.

So lets see, final two minute recap.
One complete Hero Ball possession by Kobe Parker.
One turnover, granted GNob just got his eye whacked but nonetheless, no shot attempt at all, turnover.
One more Hero Ball behind the back off balance 20 foot fadeaway bullshit klanker.

What happens to the legendary team ball passing and shooting that has had not only us but even many in the media and ex players praising as having never seen such excellent team ball in decades?
It all goes to shit with the game on the line?

They didnt wanna turn the ball over like in game 1, so they were scared to move the ball

they need to find that happy balance, and it'll be tough against the miami d

Anything is tough when refs allow muggings, I thought it was a foul if you put 2 hands in someones back. Look at all TD's post ups.
