View Full Version : Amateur: Ducnan will no longer belong on the top 15 lists

after he repeats losing in the finals. Since his lockout one, and the Donaghy 2007 series were bullshit enough to be deemed 'asterisks', Duncan has only 2 (unrepeated) titles. He's right where Isiah Thomas is at.

It would still be Duncan 2 alpha, Kirby 0.

Duncan's legacy will live on to become what Karl Malone's was after '98. Bruised, battered, and ultimately ignored. Nobody cites losers.

I'm not going to argue with a crackhead if water is wet, and I wont argue with you about Kobe being a legend. In a few more years they are going to build a statue of the guy outside of Staples and glorify him forever. That nigga sells arenas in China just to stop by and say hello. Yeah, if thats not a legend wtf is?

That's basically what I told mid when he was bragging about him reaching (and losing) back-to-back Finals at age 37 and 38. :lmao

He may have been in the running, but considering:

1) Bronze Medal
2) Never repeated (as champi:loln)
3) Cucked
4) Tongue ring
5) Merlin tat
6) Tramp stamp
7) Paid for a gym without knowing
8) Amy got halfPERIOD
9) Loss back-to-back Finals
10) On the "tail" end of my 5 > 4 schtick

I don't know if I can agree son. :downspin:

Instead he's fighting for another championship at 38... there's literally not enough turns to spin that shit :lol

Neither did the "legendary" role player Kirby when he had to be a primary option :downspin:

Lkrfan's Duncan criticism is tongue-in-cheek, but Tit's sanity seems to depend on whether or not Duncan ties Kirby in ring count. Quite disturbing.

I'm thinking it's Deuce, the only one capable of that obsession. He even starts Kobe vs. Duncan threads on other forums :lol

I have not mentioned Kobe's name at any point in this thread. But, when discussing all matters Duncan-related, Kobe has to be brought up.

And the more they do it, the more it means Kirby has never beaten anyone great in the playoffs.

Reduce Duncan to Karl Malone, and the best player Kobe's teams have ever beaten will be Jason Kidd or Carmelo Anthony :lol

Duncan's teams have beaten Shaq/Kobe (twice), Dirk (three times. We know what happened to Kirbs the last time he saw Dirk), peak "MVP" Durant, and James (possibly twice). Hell, even taking James last year to 7 is more impressive than beating a shit Magic team in 5.

Kobe did really sneak in that repeat during a down time. A ring is a ring, though.

Duncan is top 4-5 all time with a ring and Finals MVP this year.

Only Jordan, Jabaar, Russell, and Magic (tied or just under Duncan) have claim over him in that case.
