View Full Version : Spurs: what's wrong with > Lee?

Blake

He's had decent all around performances so far, but still has yet to score in double digits against the Heat.

And that's even with playing 36 minutes last night.

What's been wrong with > Lee in this series and how do the spurs fix it?

he doesnt need to be scoring, his doing something the starting pg is failed at...too many fire power on the roster

:lol With Diaw on the floor Spurs outscored by 50 pts or something

there is nothing wrong with Diaw on the contrary

He just needs to shoot the ball a bit more than he is tbh last two games he passed open shots that put the team in difficult position with the clock running down

He is in the conversation for mvp, why do you keep thinking he needs to put up more points than lee to be better than him?

If there's nothing wrong, why did you just give opinion of what he needs to do better?

But I agree, he needs to take those open 3s........which has always been an issue, imo.

True or false:

If David Lee were in there (matching salaries) instead of Boris, the Spurs are 3-0.

Diaw's fanboys are delusional.... now not only is he better than David Lee, he's apparently better than Timmy, Blake, Aldridge, and equivalent to LeBron :lmao

You are talking about 2 or 3 posters.

Most reasonable guys acknowledge his positive impact for the Spurs without saying he is better than wilt chamberlain. Now no one can deny he is key for the Spurs because of his versatility and his passing / ball handling and long range. Without him on the floor life would be much easier for the Heat, dude is a PF who can play PG that's helping massively ball movement especially when Heat is trapping Parker or Ginobili. In that sense this thread is retarded.

While I don't agree Diaw > Lee net, in the Spurs system Diaw > Lee. Diaw's passing and versatility on defense allows him to fit in the system perfectly.

His defense, while not great, is much better than Lee's, and his basketball IQ, his ability to pretty much play like a very big, slow and fat PG makes him invaluable in the system. The way he whips the ball around court, I mean, most guards can even see the passing lanes that he see, let alone execute the pass itself.

The issue with the Spurs is that so many of these players are valuable right now, if any of them gets in foul trouble of gets injured, it makes it much tougher for the Spurs to win.

True or false:

If David Lee were in there (matching salaries) instead of Boris, the Spurs are 3-0.

You do realize it's been proven that he is statistically the absolute worst defender in the league (for bigmen)? You also realize he can't stretch the floor like Diaw can?

Nevermind of course you dont, youre a moron. :lol

No one seriously has a chance at FMVP if they are scoring 6 points a game though.

the impacts of such players like >Lee and the prime Battier are only visible when they're not on the court imho. >Lee is too fat and is athletic as your grandma but he's like the glue of our team. it's his versatility rather than anything that earns him a spot on the world's best basketball team imho.

great game from > Lee. I was really pulling for him to get to double figures finally.

I still would like to know why he is so gun shy when out there all alone on the three point line.

I guess at this point, it's an unfixable characteristic.
