View Full Version : Wade, Lebron's attitude at post-Game 3 conference was different

Normally after a loss they are somber. This time they were laughing, smiling, downplaying it. It was odd. I think they were embarassed, and showing false bravado. Game 4 might be the collapse of the Heat. I am smelling blood in the water.

Kind of disrespectful to sit there and whisper to one another, while a reporter tries to ask questions.

it was that same black man that asked Spo the same question......what the hell are you supposed to say when the opposition...shoots lites out...
Even if the "lack luster" guy wasn't there, they did seem a little too smiley and laughy. Something was off. At first I thought they were confident the Spurs' play was a fluke so they didn't take it too seriously and are ready for Game 4... But the OP's suggestion may be just as true.

I took it as being a little too confident relying on that "haven't lost back to back games" trend assuming they'll automatically get the next one. Eventually that shits gonna end.
And what s why them acting like little school girls giggling and whispering to each other. Smh

The whole point is it wasn't a question. He basically making a statement with a question that they are getting beat on both sides of the ball. It was a troll question with an obvious answer and a very good one at that.

Q: Coach, you gave San Antonio the credit, and you mentioned a couple times that you're in The Finals. How does a team in their fourth Finals come out in The Finals, their first home game and get beat to the ball to get stomped the way they did? The kind of heart that your championship team has, to come out tonight like they did mentally has to be something that's a problem.
Spoelstra: Clearly.
Q: This is for both of you, you have a great defense. They're averaging 104 points a game. You have a lot of offense, you haven't broken a hundred yet. Is the problem your lackluster defense or is it the problems you're having offensively, lackluster offense?
James: ...
Wade: The problem is we're down two games to one. That is the problem. We've got to figure out how to tie it up.

Of course I heard the question. ..so what? Either answer it or dont, but is it necessary to whisper back and forth, like a couple of 12 year old girls? It continued shortly after. The next guy asking actually paused, and waited for them to quit whispering to one another b4 finishing his question.

I didnt think that was a troll question if you consider they got blown out by the Spurs. I thought LeBron and Wade were just embarrassed and reacted that way - too me it was disrespectful and it was weird since the guy asking the question is a Miami guy.
Also, I still haven't heard from them that the Spurs played better. Even Allen didnt want to admit it. Saying "they jumped on us" implying they were more aggressive is not the same as "they were better". I saw a lot of people yesterday talking more about Miami playing badly than the Spurs actually beating them.

Lebron is the most sensitive star I've ever seen. He said since he had 7 TOs, now "Lebron" (he speaks about himself in 3rd person)is going to catch heck about it now. Every time he loses, he gets all bent out of shape and is very defensive, just like a little pussy.

Wade was pretty upbeat and relaxed after Game 1, joking with reporters and laughing about the AC malfunction. Bosh and others were more somber, but Wade handled the loss pretty well and they came out and won Game 2. I wouldn't expect any of those players to look defeated any time soon, they obviously live for playing out of a hole and it's not like being down 2-1 to the Spurs is unfamiliar territory to them.
Troll question tbh. Homer fan pissed about the loss asks a binary question which can't be answered — like "have you stopped beating your wife."
The honest answer could be simple: the Spurs are a better team, but the homer troll can't even entertain that possibility.

the guy asked what was worse, their offense or defense. They laughed, and deflected. Then he asked if coming out like a bunch of Tiago Splitters (SOFT) was a problem, probably wanting to hear what your man-crush was going to do about it. He said, "Clearly"
What he mean to say was, "lebron runs this team. if he dont wanna play, then he'll cramp up and make excuses. I cant get him to do anything he doesnt want to do or he'll cry and get me fired. PS I had relations with pat riley to get this job."

First of all, San Antonio's Mike Monroe asks the dumbest questions / statements in local media. He's the king of the "Pop, talk about..." as in, I can't ask questions so please say something I can write about. He's far worse than McDonald and even got an award for sticking around in a dying media making shitty money.
Am I the only one who didn't think the questions were that bad? He was pretty much asking to what did they attribute the loss? Defense or Offense?
As for Spo, (using my interpretation skills) he pretty much asked - "How can such an experienced, championship-caliber team come out and play their 1st home Finals game with such little energy and enthusiasm ?"

Theres nothing in their demeanors that indicates anything about the future of the series. Spurs have to bring it and avoid stupid turnovers and foul trouble to have a chance in this series.

A reporter shouldnt tell the interviewee about their own team. They should ask short, concise questions about the game, not long winded questions that only serve to give the reporter face time.

Le Bron & Wade are playing their hearts out but can they carry the team; give them a go ! If Duncan, Parker & Manu are slowing down - they have an enthusiastic bench. I must say however that the Birdman has stepped up for the Heat - he plays solid defence and his aggression on Duncan is frustrating Duncan at times.

You forget about the rigging.
The Heat about to
get a thousand fake freebies,
and get away with murder on D,
per par.
This series going 6, min.,
but probably 7.
Spurs are great,
but they can't win 5 on 8.
I think personally
think the league will let this one be
fair in games 6/and or 7,
as they don't mind the Spurs
winning for nostalgia's sake.
But you can forget about the Spurs
winning game 4.
Ain't happening.

Dude used that press conference as a way to let the Heat know he was unhappy with their performances. As if Spo, Bron and Wade owe him an explanation. If he really wanted to discuss the various reasons for their performances, he would have come at them differently. Instead, his sore, emotional ass grabbed the mic and acted like a woman.
Bron and Wade were immature with their responses, but the guy deserved to be clowned for trying to go at the three guys most responsible for all the Heat's success these past few years. Because getting waxed in front of their home crowd wasn't enough, they need Bobby Ramos and his sore pussy to tell them how disappointing their performance was.
