I'm partial to Radiostar. I don't know the Spurs' record with them but I do know who is going to show up and play.

I don't see why they must insist on dressing like fake "nerds" guys in there 30-40s. Also they try to be funny like they are doing stand up....but what ever we won and they entertained us for free so I was satisfied. Are they from San Antonio?

That's their shtick. They're a cover band so the nerdy stand up is how they draw their audience. There is also 3-4 spazmatic bands around the country following the same formula. It's like a franchise band. Nothing wrong with it I guess. It's just local shows earning some decent extra cash.

From a musicianship standpoint, I'm more disappointed that everything is played to a track, even the vocals. Not saying they can't play or sing, but the backing tracks pretty much carry the entire show.

But in the end, it's just for entertainment.
