If Spurs win tonight, is it over? I'd say so.
If Heat win, I think we go seven games and it's a toss up.

I'd love to see the Spurs blow this one out.

We could see a frosh sprinter run a sub 10.00 for Baylor in these NCAA Championships.

Biggest game since last year's game 7 maybe.

Does Jameis Winston fall flat on his face in 2014?

I'll feel pretty good if Spurs win tonight. I won't celebrate but I'll be ready to. The absolute worst would be going up 3-1 and losing the series. It would give all the haters ammo for years.

So what college basketball player set a world record in track?

Micky Jo Buttnutter

Micky Joe was a 13.7 hurdler while at Waukesaw State just north of Billings Montana. While that was close to the then 13.5 world record held by Willie "The Spider" Williamson out of Norfolk State he never held a track World Record.

How did you know about Micky Jo Buttnutter?

Back in the 70's for a while, Wonder Bread was putting a track and field trading card with each loaf.

So why didn't you mention that Mr. Buttnutter was the grandfather of current UTEP hurdler Maggie Purvis? Her mom was one of the Fantellas, ya know Martha and the Fantellas.

They didn't put that shit on the card.

Got it!

Did you also get a Mozelle Ellerbe card? Mozelle was a blind long jumper out of Tuskegge Institute. He still holds that school record. He'd run down the runway and just before he hit the mark his coach would yell..JUMP! A two time NAIA Champion and a four time MEAC champ.

I hope the Spurs win, if for no other reason than to shut the fuck up everyone who says the Heat NEVER lose two games in a row.
But practically everyone is predicting a Heat win.

How is tonight's game bigger than Game 7 last year? That one was for all the marbles. The Spurs can lose tonight and still be the favorites to win the title.

When I said "recent history", I meant starting after Game 7 from last year.

Every next game in the finals is the biggest tbh.
This is a moot point.

Spurs can still lose this one and still win in 6.

They'll definitely win game 5 at home. It would be poetic justice if it goes down that way. Ending in 6 on the road as it should have been last year.

That would be awesome to blow out Miami in game 6 at their home. But still...I think the greater poetic justice is winning this one at home in front of the fans.

It will only be "must win" when one of the teams has won three games.
Moot point.
By the way, just to educate you a little, moot and mute are pronounced differently so it wasn't even a funny pun.
Sorry, but keep trying, you'll get there sooner or later, maybe.

shit's gonna be a close game imho (like game 2) and I believe we'll win this game with a bit of luck, and close it out in San Antonio next game. Spurs in 5.

No, the next game is the biggest game in THIS series for the Heat.
The biggest game in the Spurs history was the final game of the 1999 championship, their first championship, period.

Avante

Well one thing for sure the Spurs are not that good and the Heat that bad. Talk about a good team lacking desire/need/want that would be the Heat. Two games over at half time, wow!

Gross exaggeration to say it is "biggest game in recent Spurs history", but it is extremely important, especially for the Heat to stave off elimination.
However the Spurs have three games left in order to win just one, in case you were hiding in a cave somewhere and were not aware.
:lol
