I'm still just as nervous as I was before game 4. Do you think the Heat can do the impossible?

We have a history of strange flukes happening to us so I don't count anything out. However, so far, every single game we've looked like the better team so I feel pretty fine right now.

I might feel differently if the Spurs were struggling to piece these wins together, and Miami were handing them to them. The Spurs have set every strategy and countermeasure by the Heat ablaze. Miami's not winning 3 straight, two in SA, after the complete demolition they've suffered.

I'll never be comfortable again til it's over

With that said life is pretty good right now

Obviously anything can happen. The Heat still have the best player in the world. But this Spurs team still remembers what happened last year so I trust them not to be complacent.

Spurs look so much better than the Heat. Just no chance.

After game three, I felt more comfortable with this team than ever. Even this game four, you could see there was NO fear in any of the Spurs players. Their decision making and purpose of attacking and defending was as on point as I've ever seen it

It is over, Heat are not winning this year. Last shot for the spurs will be this year- Enjoy.

It's not over until it's OVER. I've been a Spurs fan for far too long and seen far too many utterly unfathomable bullshit heartbreaking losses to think we're actually going to win the title this year until we ACTUALLY GET THAT FOURTH WIN.

That said, I just can't see Miami coming back from down 3 games to 1. They were utterly demolished on their home court twice in a row. Their aura of invincibility is GONE. They CAN lose. The Spurs ARE the better team.

Spurs in 5...LET'S FINISH IT ON SUNDAY!

Only was the Spurs lose this series is if they want to. If they want to win, they're the better team And they just have to win 1 of the next 3. If they really want to win a ship, they should be able to do that.

This. But the Heat are still the b2b champs, gotta finish em off come game 5.

This is how I see it as well. We have flat out destroyed them. If these were close wins, or Miami was shooting themselves in the foot I would probably be somewhat nervous. But it clearly looks as we are just flat out the better team.

I believe in these guys to close it out because honestly, I figured Miami would come out hot tonight. If they couldn't come out ready to play on their home court after a big loss and try to smash them into the ground, I can't see them come out on the road and win. Hope I'm right anyway, Sunday is too far away!!!

The Spurs have figured them out both on offense and defense. Honestly don't know what the Heat can do to get any momentum.

Lebron will score 50 at least

We saw regression to the mean with Wade. He was much more accurate in game 3. Expect to see the same for Lebron. He's been shooting some ridiculous numbers.

I felt this was a 5 game series. And the reason I gave the Heat one game was because of Lebron. His game 2 performance was the 1 game. The Heat can't score 100 on the Spurs and they can't keep the Spurs from scoring 100. This is just like us from '10-'12 against the Suns, Grizzlies, and Thunder. Our defense wasn't good enough to stop them and we just couldn't score enough to win the games. Now we have enough scoring and our defense is much better because it's actually been a focus of Pop like in the championship years.

After 2012 and 2013 Spurs fans should clearly know better than to celebrate before it's really over. It feels good right now, but I'll wait until it feels great.

I knew it was over last night in the third quarter when LeBron dribbled on the perimeter for 23 seconds and then threw up a last second three...Heat are done and LeBron knows it.

Talk about peaking at precisely the right moment. Spurs are playing their best basketball of the season in the finals.
That being said, nothing's done until the 4th win.

I'm hoping the spurs come out on a mission to close it out on Sunday at home. Miami hasn't had an answer and their bench can't hang. Only option Spo has is to play Lebron huge minutes again, which IMO will just wear Lebron out and gas him out.

Like others have said I won't celebrate until the deed is done but this has been a great season for a dominate Spurs team.

On a side note...I don't post very often but read the forums just about every weekday and so many people were ready to give up after every loss in these playoffs. Glad the Spurs didn't have this mentality. Just sayin.....

I'll be truly convinced on Sun night if they seal the deal, but the level of play from the spurs so far has been incredibly promising. Never doubted them once this playoffs (okay i had some moments when okc evened it back up, but i stuck to my guns) and it feels good. still hasn't really sunk in yet, spurs fans are this close yet again

I think a good thread to start would be, What is the difference between 2013 spurs vs heat and 2014 spurs vs heat? Obvioulsy, spurs look so much more dominant than the heat this year, and last year it was evenly competitive.

Honestly, I've never seen the heat look this defeated.

D Wade and LeBron sitting on bench, D Wade looks silently at LeBron as he stares ahead blankly, the look on D Wade's face: "what do we do now :( ?"
