So the Spurs had 40 FG and had either an assist or a hockey assist on every single one of them?

/longslowwhistle

Damn.

That's incredible.

To play such perfect basketball in the most pressure packed environment against the best player in the world... almost doesn't seem real.

Damn.

No, I think by definition the 15 hockey assists have to be paired with a primary assist.

So it would be:
15 unassisted baskets
10 single-assist baskets
15 hockey-assisted (+assist) baskets

Yeah, there was a couple of offensive rebound scores (Kawhi's dunk) and Tony and Kawhi had a couple of unassisted drives.

Yeah, I guess that's true. Thinking can be fundamental, too. It just felt like all of the 40 FG were assisted.

Diaw's behind-the-back should have counted as more than one.

Was coming here to start a thread entitled "Passing", but I'll post here.

Assists are nice. They are beautiful.

They don't begin to tell the story of your passing the last two games.

It's a vision. I love the not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, but even 7 pass posessions.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but congratulations on being fun to watch!

What took ya so long?! :p

Newbies, please don't take offense, this is an honest kudos framed within an inside joke from the 2005-2007 days.

Thanks for Boris. Since he's put on a few more pounds, we don't have to worry about him leaping off the bench.

Its unbelievable the level of basketball the Spurs are playing right now. Unreal.

There are few teams who have one big who is a good passer and the Spurs have three. Boris is obviously the best, but Timmy is damn good as well and Tiago is almost just as good.

I think the Spurs have not only ruined my dreams of a Title many times, but now my ability to blithely tolerate pass-free ISO ball!

Beautiful bunch of unselfish assholes!

I swear I see each pass is in slow motion surrounded by the shekinah glory.

I'm a little drunk. I miss me some Boris! :( never got how a Boris/Amare tandem failed.
