After having watched the Spurs thoroughly kick the shit outta the Heat for two straight games on their court, the question has to be asked, did Pop(or the team) intentionally throw game 2 in order to be able to win at home?

It is a well-known fact that SpursTalk is a better place when the Spurs melt down, more entertaining, more unusual posts... etc.

No, the spurs weren't up 3-0 like the Portland series. This is the nba finals. You want to win every game as a team.

Its amazing, after a big win, how the human mind has freedom to wonder things unwonderable by the average human being

I don't think they intentionally lost game 2, but I do think they intentionally started Splitter in games 1 and 2, versus Diaw, even though I believe Pop knew Diaw was probably the better option.

Step 1: Win G1
Step 2: Lose G2
Step 3: Win G3&G4 at Miami, having Kawhi average 24/9 in the process.
Step 4: :lobt2:
Never underestimate the plan :rolleyes

If anything maybe the Game 2 loss was a blessing in disguise. Maybe it had Miami and its fanbase over confident. This shouldve been a sweep.

Yeah they didn't want to sweep.
